தமிழரசுக்கட்சியின் எம்.ஏ.சுமந்திரன் தரப்பினை தொடர்ந்து அரசியலமைப்பு பேரவையில் இருந்து உடனடியாக இலங்கை தமிழரசுக் கட்சியின் நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் எஸ்.சிறீதரன் விலக வேண்டும் என மற்றொரு நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் தயாசிறி ஜயசேகர கோரியுள்ளார். சிறுபான்மை கட்சி சார்பாக நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் எஸ் சிறீதரன் அரசியலமைப்பு பேரவையில் அங்கம் வகிக்கின்றார். எனினும் அரசாங்கத்தின் அனைத்து தீர்மானங்களுக்கும் அரசியலமைப்பு பேரவையில் அவர் கைகளை தூக்கி ஆதரவு வழங்குகின்றார். அவர் தவறான நபர்களை பதவியில் நியமிப்பதற்கும் தமது ஆதரவை வழங்கியுள்ளார். தற்போது இலஞ்சம் மற்றும் ஊழல் விசாரணை ஆணைக்குழுவின் பணிப்பாளர் நாயகத்தை நியமிப்பதற்கான வாக்கெடுப்பின் போது ஆதரவு வழங்குகிறார். அவர் அதற்கான நியாயப்பாடுகளையும் அறிவிக்கவில்லை. சூரிய மின் சக்தி வேலைத்திட்டத்திற்கான காணி ஒதுக்கீடு விடயத்துடன் தொடர்புப்படுத்தி இடம்பெற்றதாக கூறப்படும் நிதி மோசடி குறித்து தற்போது சிறீதரன் சாரங்கனுக்கு எதிராக இலஞ்சம் மற்றும் ஊழல் ஆணைக்குழுவில் முறைப்பாடு ஒன்றும் முன்வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பல குற்றச்சாட்டுக்களை முன்வைத்து இலங்கை தமிழரசுக் கட்சிக் கூட அவரை அரசியலமைப்பு பேரவையில் இருந்து விலகுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது. எதிர்க்கட்சிகளின் கோரிக்கைகளின் அடிப்படையில் அந்த பேரவைக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட அவர், அரசாங்கத்தின் தீர்மானங்கள் அனைத்துக்கும் ஆதரவளிக்கிறார். கணக்காய்வாளர் நியமனம், இழப்பீட்டு அலுவலகங்களுக்கான நியமனத்தில் இராணுவ பின்புலம் கொண்ட இருவரது நியமனத்திற்கு ஆதரவளித்தமை உள்ளிட்ட பல குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் உள்ளன. எனவே அரசியலமைப்பு பேரவையில் இருந்து எஸ்.சிறீதரன் உடனடியாக பதவி விலக வேண்டும் என அவர் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார். எனினும் நாடாளுமன்ற சிறப்புரிமையை பயன்படுத்தி முன்னெடுக்கப்படும் சேறுபூசல்களின்றி பொது வெளியில் மின் உற்பத்தி நிலைய காணி ஒதுக்கீடு தொடர்பில் உரையாட சிறீதரன் மற்றும் அவரது மகன் சாரங்கன் உள்ளிட்டவர்கள் சவால் விடுத்துவருவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

சென்னை, போரூர் பகுதியில் 35 வயதான இளம்பெண் ஒருவர் வசித்து வருகிறார். இவர், கருத்து வேறுபாடு காரணமாக கணவரைப் பிரிந்து தனியாக வசித்து வருகிறார். மேலும் இவர் தனியார் நிறுவனத்தில் வேலை செய்து வருகிறார். 12.12.2025-ம் தேதி அந்தப் பெண்ணின் இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் பக்கத்திற்கு, மற்றொரு இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் கணக்கிலிருந்து ஆபாச மெசேஜ்கள், ஆபாச வீடியோக்கள், சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பெண்ணின் மார்பிங் வீடியோக்கள் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன. அதைப் பார்த்த அந்தப் பெண் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்தார். இந்தச் சூழலில் ஆபாச வீடியோக்களை அனுப்பியவர், `உன்னுடைய நிர்வாண வீடியோவை எனக்கு அனுப்பு, இல்லையெனில் இந்த மார்பிங் வீடியோவை உனக்குத் தெரிந்தவர்களுக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்து விடுவேன்' என மிரட்டி மற்றொரு மெசேஜ் அனுப்பியிருந்தார். அதற்கும் அந்தப் பெண் எந்தவித பதிலும் அளிக்கவில்லை. கைது தொடர்ந்து முகம் தெரியாத ஒருவரால் மனரீதியாக பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இளம்பெண், மேற்கு மண்டல சைபர் க்ரைம் காவல் நிலையத்தில் புகார் அளித்தார். அதன்பேரில் போலீஸார் விசாரணை நடத்தினர். இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் கணக்கிலிருந்து ஐ.பி., அட்ரஸ் குறித்த விவரங்களையும் சைபர் போலீஸார் சேகரித்தனர். அப்போது பெண்ணுக்கு ஆபாச வீடியோக்களை அனுப்பியது திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டம், காரம்பாக்கத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சேகர் (23) எனத் தெரியவந்தது. உடனடியாக அவரைப் பிடித்து போலீஸார் விசாரித்தபோது, புகார் கொடுத்த இளம்பெண்ணின் உறவினர் ஒருவரை சேகர் காதலித்து வந்திருக்கிறார். இந்த காதல் விவகாரம் புகார் கொடுத்த இளம்பெண்ணுக்கு தெரியவந்திருக்கிறது. அதனால் தங்களின் காதல் விவகாரத்தை குடும்பத்தினரிடம் கூறிவிடுவார் என்ற பயத்தில் இளம்பெண்ணை மிரட்ட சேகர் இந்த படுபாதகச் செயலில் ஈடுபட்டிருப்பது தெரியவந்தது. விசாரணைக்குப் பிறகு சேகரைக் கைதுசெய்த போலீஸார், அவரிடமிருந்து செல்போனையும் பறிமுதல் செய்தனர்.

The insight signals a shift beyond youth culture stereotypes, as Gen Z parents actively navigate screen ethics, emotional well-being and content quality for their children.The report also captures how wellness habits are being redefined. Under the theme “Snooze is the New Booze,” GIPSI notes that mornings have emerged as the new social currency, driven by health-conscious lifestyles. In 2025 alone, searches around ‘Breakfast Clubs’ crossed 28.8 million, while interest in non-alcoholic beer surged with 25.7 million+ searches. Fitness-led social signalling continues to grow, with running-related Reels generating 551K+ engagement as rest and activity become actively tracked, optimised and shared.Another key trend outlined in the report is the transition from Artificial Intelligence to Artificial Emotion (AE). With 175 million+ total engagement on top Reels around AI girlfriends and boyfriends, the report points to AI evolving into emotional companions, therapists and well-being monitors. Notably, 18–25 year-olds account for 36% of AI users leveraging it to monitor or improve their well-being, highlighting how emotion-led AI is changing consumer expectations and ethical considerations.Consumers are also increasingly pushing back against algorithmic control.
