We see analytics as a tool that informs decisions, not one that dictates creativity.The real challenge is ensuring that we don’t end up designing for dashboards instead of people. The independent specialist agency recently unveiled a new AI-generated campaign for Lifestyle’s exclusive women’s fashion label, Ginger. How is AI being integrated into the agency? At Plus One Design, we currently use AI as a creative collaborator.For the Ginger campaign, AI helped us rapidly explore visual worlds, moods, and stylistic directions - unlocking possibilities that traditional production timelines wouldn’t allow. It expanded the canvas and removed many logistical constraints.That said, the idea, narrative, and fashion sensibility remained entirely human. AI amplifies creativity, but humans decide what matters and that distinction is fundamental to how we work.Looking ahead to 2026, we plan to integrate AI deeper into our workflows to streamline internal processes and accelerate client brief–feedback cycles. As an independent studio, our agility allows us to adopt these tools faster and more efficiently. Q. As a result of AI was the campaign executed much faster than normal? Yes, AI significantly accelerated the process.Exploration and iteration that earlier took weeks could now happen in days. But speed was never the objective. The real benefit was clarity. AI allowed us to arrive at stronger decisions faster and spend more time refining and elevating the work.The time saved was reinvested into thinking, editing, and ensuring the work felt purposeful and resonant. Q. Does the agency focus a lot on striking the right balance between AI and human creativity so that work done resonates? Absolutely. AI is powerful, but without taste, restraint, and context, it can feel empty. Human creativity brings emotion, cultural relevance, and lived experience into the work. Design that does not serve a business objective is simply decoration. In helping legacy brands digitally transform themselves what is the big challenge that Plus One Design and the legacy brand usually face? The biggest challenge is unlearning. Legacy brands often have tremendous equity, but transformation requires letting go of familiar aesthetics, processes, and assumptions. This is rarely easy. Bengaluru Court fines Reporter TV, calls defamation suit an abuse of process; orders restoration of taken-down reports

Mumbai: A Bengaluru City civil court has imposed costs of ₹10,000 on Reporter TV and dismissed its defamation suit against several media organisations, holding that the channel misused an interim court order and later withdrew the case without providing any explanation.In an order dated December 18, the Bengaluru City Civil and Sessions Court also directed Reporter TV to restore all articles, videos and URLs that were taken down following an ex parte ad-interim injunction granted on October 25, 2025. The court ordered that the content be made publicly accessible within one week, clarifying that no mandatory injunction for permanent deletion had ever been issued. Suit Withdrawn After Interim Relief Was Stayed Reporter TV had filed the civil suit seeking a permanent injunction against what it described as defamatory reporting by multiple media outlets and digital platforms, including The News Minute. Among the reports challenged were stories related to the Muttil illegal tree-felling case in Kerala, in which the channel’s directors—the Augustine brothers—are accused and face ongoing criminal proceedings.However, the interim injunction granted by the trial court was stayed by the Karnataka High Court on December 3. Soon after the defendants appeared before the trial court and challenged the injunction, Reporter TV moved a memo seeking to withdraw the suit, without assigning any reasons.The trial judge observed that this sequence reflected a lack of bona fides on the part of the plaintiff. Withdrawing the case after securing interim relief—and following the High Court’s stay—amounted to an abuse of the judicial process, the court said, adding that such conduct caused hardship to defendants, affected public access to information, and wasted judicial time. Allegations of Misuse of Court Order As reported by media outlets, several defendants argued before the court that Reporter TV had obtained the interim order by suppressing material facts and then misused it to pressure news organisations into taking down content. They pointed out that legal notices were subsequently issued claiming the court had ordered permanent deletion of reports and videos, even though no such direction had been passed.The court examined one such notice and found it misleading, noting that it incorrectly asserted that the court had directed permanent removal of content, despite the absence of any mandatory injunction.Counsel for Reporter TV told the court that he was unaware of his clients’ conduct at the time of filing the suit and submitted that the decision to withdraw the case was taken after the interim order was stayed by the High Court. Reference to Supreme Court Guidance While allowing the withdrawal of the suit, the court imposed costs and dismissed the matter as “not pressed.” It also referred to a 2025 Supreme Court ruling in Bloomberg Television Production Services India Pvt Ltd v Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, which cautioned courts against granting interim injunctions in defamation cases that could be weaponised to silence media reporting and public participation through prolonged litigation.Importantly, the court clarified that it was not expressing any view on the merits of the defamation allegations themselves. Its order focused squarely on the conduct of the plaintiff and the misuse of interim judicial relief, reiterating that all content removed due to the October 25 injunction must now be restored within the stipulated timeframe.

காஞ்சிபுரம் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில்: போரை நிறுத்திய பொக்கிஷம்; இந்த ஈசனை சுற்றி வந்தால் மறுபிறவி இல்லை!

காஞ்சியின் பெருமைக்குப் பெருமை சேர்க்கும் அதிசயம் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் என்பர். இந்தக் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயிலின் பிரமாண்ட வடிவமே பின்னர் உருவான தஞ்சை பெரிய கோயில், கங்கை கொண்ட சோழபுரம், தாராசுரம் போன்ற பிரம்மாண்ட கோயில்களின் எழுச்சிக்கு அடிப்படையாக அமைந்தது என்றும் சொல்வார்கள். இந்த ஆலயத்தைப் பற்றிச் சொல்ல ஆயிரம் ஆயிரம் விஷயங்கள் உண்டு. இன்னும் அபூர்வமான சூட்சும வடிவங்களை இந்தக் கோயில் தாங்கிக் கொண்டுள்ளது என்றே ஆய்வாளர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள். காஞ்சிபுரம் நகரின் மத்தியிலிருந்து சுமார் 1 மைல் தூரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது இந்தக் கோயில். மூலக் கோயிலைச் சுற்றி 58 சிறு கோயில்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன. இதில் ஒவ்வொரு வடிவிலும் ஈசன் அமர்ந்து அருள்கிறார். பிராகாரச் சுவர்களில் சப்தமாதர், கணபதி, திருமால் போன்ற சிறு தெய்வங்களும் உள்ளனர். 58 சிறு கோயில்களின் இரு பக்கவாட்டில் உள்ள பாறை குடைவுகளில் ஒருவர் அமர்ந்து தியானம் செய்யும் வகையில் இந்த ஆலயம் அமைந்துள்ளது. அதாவது, ஒரேவேளையில் எண்பதற்கும் மேற்பட்ட தவசிகள் இந்தச் சிறு ஆலய குடைவரையில் அமர்ந்து தியானம் செய்யலாம் என்பது அதிசயமான இந்த ஆலயத்தின் அமைப்பு என்கிறார்கள். காஞ்சிபுரம் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் கி.பி. 700-ம் ஆண்டின் பல்லவ மன்னன் ராஜசிம்மனால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஆலயம் இது. இது சுதை வடிவில் உருவான பிரம்மாண்ட கோயில். சுவாமி இங்கே குடமுழுக்குக்கு வராமல் திருநின்றவூர் பூசலார் மனதில் உண்டாக்கிய கோயிலுக்கு எழுந்தருளச் சென்றார் என்கிறது சமயநூல்கள். இதைப்போன்றே ஒரு வியக்க வைக்கும் ஒரு சரித்திர உண்மையும் உண்டு. இந்த நகரையே அழிக்க வெறிகொண்டு வந்த மன்னன், தன்னையே மறந்து இந்தக் கோயிலுக்கும் கயிலாசநாதருக்கும் அடிமையான வரலாற்றுச் சம்பவம் அதிசயத்திலும் அதிசயம். 642-ஆம் ஆண்டு பல்லவ தளபதி, மேலைச் சாளுக்கியத்தின் தலைநகரும் கலைநகருமான வாதாபியை வென்று தீக்கிரையாக்கினான். சாளுக்கிய அரசன் இரண்டாம் புலிகேசியையும் கொன்று அழித்தான் என்கிறது வரலாறு. அதன் பிறகு காலங்கள் பல சென்ற பிறகு இரண்டாம் புலிகேசியின் மகன் முதலாம் விக்ரமாதித்தன் சாளுக்கிய அரசனானான். அவனுக்குப் பிறகு வினயாதித்தன், விஜயாதித்தன் காலத்துக்குப் பிறகு ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தான் மாவீரன் இரண்டாம் விக்ரமாதித்தன். புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டம், திருக்களம்பூர் கதலிவனேஸ்வரர்: சுயம்புமூர்த்தி, நோய் தீர்க்கும் பஞ்சாம்ருதம்! 740-ஆம் ஆண்டு கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் கட்டிய ராஜசிம்மனது மகன் இரண்டாம் பரமேஸ்வர வர்ம பல்லவன் ஆட்சி செய்த போது, சாளுக்கிய மன்னன் இரண்டாம் விக்ரமாதித்தன் மீண்டும் பல்லவர் மீது படையெடுத்துத் தாக்கினான். காஞ்சி வீழ்ந்தது. காஞ்சியைக் கைப்பற்றியதும் விக்ரமாதித்தனும் வாதாபியைப் போலவே எழில் மிகுந்த காஞ்சியையும் தீக்கிரையாக்கிவிடவே ஆத்திரம் கொண்டான். அங்கேதான் ஈசனின் கருணை அவனை மாற்றியது. பல்லவ அரசன் ராஜசிம்மன் சற்று காலத்திற்கு முன்பு எழுப்பியிருந்த காஞ்சி கயிலாசநாதரைக் கண்டவன், அதன் அழகிலும் சுவாமியின் கருணையிலும் நெகிழ்ந்து சிவபக்தனானான். சிவாலயங்கள் நிறைந்த காஞ்சியை அழிக்க எண்ணியதை உணர்ந்து வெட்கப்பட்டான். எந்தக் காஞ்சியைத் தரைமட்டமாக மண்ணோடு மண்ணாக அழிக்க படையெடுத்து வந்தானோ, அதைப் புனரமைக்கும் பணியிலும் ஈடுபட்டான். 'நாம் எப்போது இந்த ஊரை வென்றோமோ அப்போதே இந்த ஊரும் நம் சொந்த ஊர் ஆகிவிட்டது, நம்முடைய மக்களை நாமே கொடுமை செய்யக்கூடாது, இது சிவம் வாழும் நகரம், இதைக் காப்பது நம் கடமை' என்று கூறித் தன் படையினரை போரால் அழிந்த பகுதிகளைப் புனரமைக்க உத்தரவிட்டான். காஞ்சிபுரம் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் இது கண்டு அவன் படைவீரர்கள் மட்டுமல்ல பல்லவ தேசமும் நெகிழ்ந்து போனது. காஞ்சி மக்களுக்குப் பல தான தர்மங்களைச் செய்தான். கயிலாசநாதர் கோயிலுக்கும் திருப்பணிகள் பல செய்தான். ஏற்கெனவே வேறு தேசங்களில் வென்றெடுத்த செல்வங்களைக் கூட காஞ்சியில் இருந்த கோயில்களைப் புனரமைக்கச் செலவிட்டான். இந்த விவரங்களைக் கன்னடத்தில் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயிலுக்கு முன்னால் இருக்கும் மண்டபத்தின் தூண் ஒன்றில் பொறித்தும் வைத்தான். அறக்கருணை கொண்ட விக்ரமாதித்தனை காஞ்சி மக்களும் வரலாறும் ஒரு சேரப் பாராட்டின. அழிக்க வந்தவன் ஆதரித்த காரணம் காஞ்சி கயிலாசநாதர் மட்டுமல்ல, பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே காஞ்சியைக் குறித்து வருத்தப்பட்ட பரஞ்சோதியின் அக்கறையும் வேண்டுதலும் கூடத்தான் எனலாம். கலைகளின் பொக்கிஷமான காஞ்சி மாநகரைக் காப்பாற்ற உதவியது எனலாம். காஞ்சியின் கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் அவனைப் பெரிதும் மயக்கியது என்பதால் அந்த ஊரை விட்டுச் செல்லவே அவனுக்கு மனமில்லையாம். தஞ்சை மாவட்டம், திருக்கருக்காவூர் கருக்காத்தநாயகி திருக்கோயில்: மழலைச் செல்வம் அருளும் திருத்தலம்! ஊர் திரும்ப வேண்டிய அவசியம் உண்டான போது அந்தக் கோயிலைக் கட்டிய சிற்பிகளைப் பெரும் மரியாதையோடு சாளுக்கிய தேசத்திற்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றான். அங்கே ஏறக்குறைய கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் போல அதன் அச்சாகவே பட்டடக்கல்லில் 'விருபாட்சர் கோயில்' ஒன்றையும் கட்டினான் என்கிறது வரலாறு. அவனது மனைவி லோகமாதேவியின் இஷ்ட தெய்வமான விருபாட்சரை அங்கே எழுந்தருளச் செய்தான்.
