கோவை குனியமுத்தூர் நரசிம்மபுரம் ஐயப்ப நகர் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்தவர் ஜெபா மார்டின். இவர் கடந்த வாரம் ஊருக்கு சென்றுவிட்டு வீடு திரும்பியபோது, பீரோவில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த 103 சவரன் தங்க நகைகள் கொள்ளையடிக்கப்பட்டது தெரியவந்தது. ஆனால் வீட்டின் பூட்டு உடைக்கப்படவில்லை. திருடப்பட்ட நகை இதுகுறித்து குனியமுத்தூர்  காவல் நிலையத்தில் புகாரளிக்கப்பட்டது. விசாரணையில் கண்ணப்ப நகர் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி (48)  என்பவரை கைது செய்தனர். அவரிடம் இருந்து 80 பவுன் நகை, கொத்து சாவிகள், ரம்பம், குரடு, ராடு போன்ற பொருள்கள் பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதுகுறித்து காவல்துறையினர் கூறுகையில், “வீட்டின் பூட்டு உடைக்கப்படாததால் முதலில் வீட்டில் உள்ளவர்கள், உறவினர்களிடம் விசாரணை நடத்தினோம். அதில் அவர்கள் ஈடுபடவில்லை என்று தெரியவந்தது. இதே பாணியில் குனியமுத்தூரில் கடந்த 2024-ம் ஆண்டு இரண்டு வழக்குகள் பதிவாகி கண்டறிய முடியவில்லை. கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி பழைய வழக்குகள், மற்றும் இந்த வழக்கின் சிசிடிவி அடிப்படையில் தான் கிருஷ்ணமுர்த்தியை கைது செய்தோம். அவர் ஆக்டிங் டிரைவராக பணிபுரிந்து வருகிறார். அவ்வப்போது திருட்டு சம்பவங்களிலும் ஈடுபட்டு வந்துள்ளார். இவர் கடந்த 1993-ம் ஆண்டு மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலம், மும்பை சென்று கொள்ளை சம்பவங்களில் ஈடுபட்டு கைது செய்யப்பட்டவர். கடந்த 2023-ம் ஆண்டு கோவை சரவணம்பட்டி பகுதியில் நகை கொள்ளையடித்து கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். பொருள்கள் இவர் கையில் கொத்தாக பல்வேறு சாவிகளை வைத்துக் கொண்டு இரவு நேரங்களில் பூட்டி இருக்கும் வீடுகளில் ஒவ்வொரு சாவியாக திறந்து பார்த்து, ஆயுதங்களை வைத்து உடைக்காமல் திறந்துள்ளார். அவரிடம் தொடர்ந்து விசாரணை நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது” என்றனர்.  

தையிட்டி விகாரைக்கு சென்ற நாகதீப விகாராதிபதி

TGPWU offers free rides to curb drunken driving during New Year celebrations

New Delhi: In a bid to enhance public safety during New Year celebrations, the Telangana Gig and Platform Workers’ Union (TGPWU) announced free transportation services for individuals who were unable to return home safely after consuming alcohol.The initiative was operational from 11:00 PM on December 31 to 1:00 AM on January 1, covering the jurisdictions of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda. The free ride service aimed to prevent incidents of drunken driving, a major cause of road accidents during festive periods.Speaking about the initiative, Shaik Salauddin, President of TGPWU, highlighted the risks posed by drunk driving to both motorists and pedestrians. To address this concern, the union launched the #HumAapkeSaathHai campaign, focused on accident prevention and saving lives. “For the past eight years, TGPWU provided free rides through auto-rickshaws and four-wheelers on New Year’s Eve. This year, we strengthened the initiative by collaborating with BijliRide EV Bikes, which allowed us to expand our reach and respond more effectively. Our only intention was to ensure that people returned home safely,” Salauddin said.As part of the campaign, a fleet of 500 vehicles, including cabs, auto-rickshaws, and EV bikes, was deployed across the region. TTF6 - கில்லர் காயின் போங்காட்டமாக நடந்து முடிந்தது. கூடையில் கோழியை அமுக்கிப் போடுவதைப் போல நடந்து முடிந்த இந்த ஆட்டம் சுவாரசியமில்லை.  ‘இப்படியொரு ஆட்டத்தில பங்கேற்க எனக்கு விருப்பமில்லை’ என்று சொன்ன திவ்யாவைத் தவிர மற்ற அனைவரும் விசேவிடம் வார இறுதியில் பாட்டு வாங்குவார்கள் என்று தோன்றுகிறது.  BB TAMIL 9 DAY 88 பிக் பாஸ் வீட்டில் நடந்தது என்ன? -  நாள் 88 கம்முவும் பாருவும் நள்ளிரவில் மீண்டும் ரொமான்ஸ் உரையாடலை ஆரம்பித்து விட்டார்கள். வித்தியாசம் என்னவெனில், நல்ல வேளையாக மைக்கைக் கழற்றவில்லை. “பண்றதையெல்லாம் பண்ணிட்டு ஸாரி கேளு.. தோப்புக்கரணம் போடு” என்று கம்முவை, பாரு செல்லமாக அதட்ட ‘படுத்தே விட்டானய்யா’ ரேஞ்சிற்கு தோப்புக்கரணம் போட்டார் கம்மு.  “சான்ட்ராதான் எனக்கு எமோஷனல் சப்போர்ட்டா இருந்தாங்க. அவங்க கிட்ட நிறைய புலம்பயிருக்கேன்” என்ற பாருவிடம், “அவங்க பயங்கரமா கேம் ஆடறாங்க.. ‘லவ்கேம்’ன்னு அவங்க மட்டும்தான் சொன்னாங்க. மத்தவங்க யாரும் சொல்லலை. கனியோட கம்ப்பேர் பண்ணா சான்ட்ரா ஒண்ணுமேயில்ல. ஆனா இன்னும் கேம்ல இருக்காங்க. உன் மண்டையை நல்லா கழுவியிருக்காங்க” என்று சான்ட்ரா மீதுள்ள கோபத்தைக் கொட்டினார் கம்மு.  “இனிமே இப்படி வயலன்ட்டா நடந்துக்காத.. சரியா?” என்று பாரு சொல்ல கம்மு கட்டியணைக்க, லவ் போ்ட்ஸ் மீண்டும் உரசிக் கொண்டன. (அடுத்த சண்டை எப்போது ஆரம்பிக்குமோ?!) ‘பிராடு சான்ட்ரா’ - வார்த்தையை விட்ட ‘அட்ராசிட்டி’ கம்ருதீன் புத்தாண்டு அலங்காரத்துடன் நாள் 88 விடிந்தது. “யப்பா.. டேய்.. நீயும் பாருவும் சேர்ந்து ஆடறீங்களே.. ஒரு ஆட்டம். எங்களுக்குப் புரியவேயில்ல. அப்படி அடிச்சிக்கிட்டீங்க.. அப்புறம் ஒண்ணா சேர்ந்துக்கறீங்க.. இனிமே நாங்க உள்ளே வர மாட்டோம்.. உங்க பர்சனல் இது” என்று விக்ரம், சபரி, சான்ட்ரா உள்ளிட்டோர் கம்முவைப் பார்த்து சொல்லி கை கழுவி விட்டார்கள்.  பிரேக் அப்பில் இருந்த சமயத்தில், தன்னைப் பற்றி பாருவிடம் சான்ட்ரா தப்புத் தப்பாகப் பேசி வைத்திருப்பாரோ என்கிற சந்தேகத்தில் இருக்கிறார் கம்மு. கிச்சன் ஏரியாவில் இருவருக்கும் உரசல் ஆரம்பமாகியது. “உங்களை எனக்கு பிடிக்கும் சான்ட்ராக்கா” என்று கம்மு பாவனையாக ஆரம்பிக்க, “உன்னை எனக்குப் பிடிக்காது. இதை முகத்திற்கு நேராத்தான் சொல்றேன். பின்னாடி பேசல” என்று சீறினார் சான்ட்ரா. நான் லவ் கேம் ஆடறேன்னு நீங்க சொன்னீங்க” என்று கம்மு சொல்ல அதை மறுத்தார் சான்ட்ரா. கனியோடு ஒப்பிட்டு கம்மு பேச சான்ட்ராவிற்கு இன்னமும் கோபம் ஏறியது. “பாரு.. உன்னாலதான் இந்தப் பேச்சையெல்லாம் நான் கேட்க வேண்டியிருக்கு. நான் அப்படி சொல்லலன்னு நீ சொல்லியிருக்க வேண்டியதுதானே.. நீ ஏன் சொல்ல?” என்று பாருவை நோக்கியும் சீறினார் சான்ட்ரா. “அதுக்குத்தான் அவனை நான் distract பண்ணேன்” என்று சமாளித்தார் பாரு.  BB TAMIL 9 DAY 88 மீண்டும் அழுகையை ஆரம்பித்த சான்ட்ரா  சான்ட்ராவிற்கும் கம்முவிற்குமான உரையாடலின் உஷ்ணம் ஏறிக் கொண்டே போக ஒரு கட்டத்தில் ‘பிராடு’ என்கிற வார்த்தையை கம்மு விட்டு விட, சான்ட்ராவின் கோபம் உச்சத்திற்குச் சென்றது. “இனிமே என்னை அக்கான்னுல்லாம் கூப்பிடாத. யாரு பிராடு. வார்த்தையை அளந்து பேசு என்று சீறிய சான்ட்ரா, பிறகு அழுகையுடன் கார்டன் ஏரியாவிற்கு நகர்ந்து விட்டார்.  “பாரு எல்லாத்தையும் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்திருக்கா” என்று அழுகையுடன் அரோவிடம் சொன்னார் சான்ட்ரா. “ஏண்டா இப்படியெல்லாம் பண்றே?” என்று கம்முவைக் கண்டித்தார் வினோத். “அவங்க PR ஆக்டிவிட்டி பத்தி சொன்னது சரியில்ல” என்றார் கம்மு. தங்களிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்க வந்த கம்முவைப் பார்த்து காதைப் பொத்திக் கொண்டு ஓடினார் சான்ட்ரா. (இது திவ்யா ஸ்டைல் ஆச்சே?!)  பாரு பிரேக் அப் ஆகி அனத்திய சமயத்தில் அவருக்கு உறுதுணையாக இருந்தவர் சான்ட்ரா. இப்போது பாரு கம்முவோடு கூடி விட்டதும் கம்மு தன்னையே புகார் சொல்வதும் சான்ட்ராவிற்கு எரிச்சலை ஏற்படுத்தியது நியாயமே. அந்த வீட்டில் பாருவுடன்தான் சான்ட்ராவால் நெருக்கமாகப் பழக முடிந்திருக்கிறது. இப்போது அந்த ஆதரவும் கை விட்டுப் போகிறதே என்று சான்ட்ராவிற்கு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கிற பதட்டம், இத்தகைய கோபமாக வெளிப்பட்டிருக்கலாம்.  BB TAMIL 9 DAY 88 கம்முவைக் கண்டித்த மற்றவர்கள், சான்ட்ராவிற்கு ஆறுதல் சொன்னார்கள். “இந்த கேம்ல இப்படித்தான் இருக்கும். இறங்கி விளையாடுங்க” என்றார் சபரி. சான்ட்ராவின் புகார்கள் கடுமையாக இருந்தால் கம்ருதீன் அதை மறுத்துப் பேசியிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் ‘பிராடு’ என்று அழைப்பது முறையானதல்ல.  “நான் பேசினதையெல்லாம் வெச்சு. அவங்க கிட்ட சண்டை போட்டிருக்க. பிரச்னையை வளர்க்கத்தான் நினைக்கற. இதுக்கு உன் கூட பேசாமலேயே இருந்திருக்கலாம்” என்று அனத்தினார் பாரு. நட்பாக இருக்கிற தருணங்களில் சொல்லப்படும் விஷயங்களை, கம்மு சண்டைக்காலத்தில் பகிரங்கமாகப் போட்டு உடைப்பார் என்று பாருவிற்கு நன்றாகவே தெரியும். அவருக்கே இது நேர்ந்து பல சமயங்களில் புலம்பியிருக்கிறார். எனில் சான்ட்ராவைப் பற்றி ஏன் கம்முவிடம் சொல்ல வேண்டும்?  கோழி பிடிக்கும் ஆட்டமாக நடந்து முடிந்த கில்லர் காயின் டாஸ்க் புத்தாண்டு அலங்காரத்தின் பின்னணியில் மக்கள் வாழ்த்து சொல்ல, ‘சகல கலா வல்லவன் படத்துல பேக்ரவுண்ட்ல நடிச்ச ஒரு பெரியவர் நம்மிடையே இருப்பது நமக்கு பெருமை’ என்று வினோத்தைப் பங்கமாகக் கலாய்த்தார் விக்ரம்.  TTF6 துவங்கியது. ஸ்கோர் போர்டில் முன்னணியில் இருப்பவர்களை முதலில் அவுட் ஆக்க வேண்டும் என்று திட்டமிட்டது சரிதான். ஆனால் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் துரத்தி துரத்தி ஒட்டியிருந்தால்தான் இந்த ஆட்டம் சுவாரசியமாக ஆகியிருக்கும். மாறாக டார்கெட்டைக் கவுத்துப் போட்டு பஸ்ஸர் அடிக்கிற வரை அனைவரும் சேர்ந்து அமுக்கிப் பிடிப்பதில் என்ன சுவாரசியம் இருக்கிறது? ZEE5 unveils integrated marketing campaign for Saali Mohabbat with Ferns N Petals collaboration

Mumbai: ZEE5 has rolled out an integrated, multi-touchpoint marketing campaign for its original crime–mystery thriller Saali Mohabbat, which has emerged as a strong performer on the platform, crossing 100 million watch minutes. Designed to extend the film’s layered narrative beyond the screen and into everyday cultural conversations, the campaign combined digital-first storytelling, influencer engagement, on-ground spike moments, platform innovations and consumer-facing brand collaborations.As part of the campaign, ZEE5 partnered with Ferns N Petals (FNP) for a narrative-led collaboration inspired by the film’s storyline. Over a five-day window during the premiere week, every Ferns N Petals order nationwide included a personalised note from Radhika Apte encouraging recipients to watch the film on ZEE5, along with a QR code linking directly to the viewing page. In addition, specially curated premiere-day hampers featuring plants and select treats were sent to celebrities and influencers, extending the film’s character universe into real-life gifting moments.The launch was further amplified through a strong social and digital push anchored in the thought “pyaar, khoobsurat bhi aur khatarnak bhi.” Prioritising organic and culturally resonant conversations over overt promotion, the campaign reimagined the film’s ‘poisonous’ flower as a storytelling device. Micro-influencers gifted a distinctive black rose to their partners as a symbolic warning, a visual metaphor that echoed the film’s dark humour and travelled organically across social feeds. Recall was also strengthened through a temporary Saali Mohabbat–inspired redesign of the ZEE5 logo across key launch touchpoints.Momentum was driven through immersive spike activations and creator-led storytelling. A staged couple argument in a public setting, initially appearing spontaneous, blurred the lines between fiction and reality before revealing its connection to the film. தஞ்சாவூர் அருகே உள்ள காசவளநாடு கொல்லாங்கரை கிராமத்தில் 500க்கும் மேற்பட்ட குடும்பத்தினர் வசிக்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் ஆண்டுதோறும் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி விழாவை வெகு விமர்சையாக கொண்டாடுகின்றனர். ஏகாதசி நாளன்று இரவு நேரத்தில் பொதுமக்கள் கண்விழித்து, அதிகாலை நேரத்தில் பெருமாள் கோயில்களுக்கு சென்று சொர்க்க வாசல் திறப்பில் கலந்து கொண்டு பெருமாளை தரிசிப்பார்கள். வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி விழாவில் கண் விழிப்பதற்காக இக்கிராமத்தினர் சரித்தர நாடகங்கள் நடத்துவது வழக்கம். அதில் கிராம மக்களே ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கும் வேடமிட்டு நடிப்பது தனி சிறப்பு. கிட்டதட்ட 200 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் தொடங்கிய இப்பழக்கம் அந்த ஊரின் அடையாளமாகி, பாரம்பர்யத்துடன் இந்த ஏஐ காலத்திலும் தொடர்வது ஆச்சர்யம். நாடகத்தில் நடிப்பவர்கள் பெரிய திரை, சின்னத்திரை, செல்போன் என டிஜிட்டல் யுகமாக மாறிவிட்ட இந்த காலக்கட்டத்திலும் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசியில் தொடர்ந்து இரண்டு நாட்கள் இரவில் சரித்திர நாடகம் போடுவதை சுற்றியுள்ள கிராமத்தினர் ஆச்சர்யத்துடன் பார்க்கின்றனர். வள்ளி திருமணம், ருக்மாங்கதன், இராமாயணம், சத்தியவான் சாவித்ரி போன்ற சரித்திர நாடகங்கள் தான் இதில் இடம் பெறும். இதே போல் இந்த ஆண்டு ஏகாதசி விழா விமர்சையாக கொண்டாடி முடித்திருக்கின்றனர். சம்பூர்ண ராமாயணம், ருக்மாங்கதன் உள்ளிட்ட நாடகத்தை அரங்கேற்றியுள்ளனர். இதில் கொல்லாங்கரை கிராமத்தினர் மட்டுமில்லாமல் சுற்றியுள்ள கிராமங்களை சேர்ந்தவர்களும் வந்து விடிய விடிய கண்டு ரசித்தனர். இதுகுறித்து கொல்லாங்கரை கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்த தர்மராஜ், எங்களது கிராமத்தில் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசியை முன்னிட்டு இரு நாட்கள் சரித்திர நாடகம் போடுவோம். 200 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக இந்த பழக்கத்தை கடைபிடிக்கிறோம். இதற்காக புரட்டாசி மாதம் மூன்றாவது சனிக்கிழமையில் இருந்து நாடகத்தில் நடிப்பதற்கான பயிற்சி எடுக்க தொடங்கி விடுவோம். இதில் எங்க ஊரைச் சேர்ந்த ஆண்கள், ஏதாவது ஒரு வேடத்தில் நடிப்பார்கள். இந்த கனவு நிறைவேறுவதற்கு அனைவரும் தவம் கிடப்போம். முன்பெல்லாம் ஒரு நாடகத்துக்கு 50 பேர் நடிப்பார்கள். ஆனால் இப்போது இதற்கான ஆர்வம் குறைந்தாலும் இதை தொடர்கிறோம். பெண் வேடமிட்டு நடிக்கும் ஆண்கள் தற்போது காலமாற்றத்தால், பலவிதமான பொழுது போக்கு வளர்ச்சி கண் முன்னே இருக்கிறது. இதனால் நாடகம் நடிப்பதில் ஆர்வம் குறைந்து விட்டது. ஆனால் இப்போதும் பத்து பேருக்கு மேல் நடிக்க வருகின்றனர். கையில் உள்ள கைபேசியில் அனைத்து விதமான பொழுது போக்கும் கிடைத்து விடுகின்றன. இருந்தாலும் எங்க ஊரில் இன்னமும் நாடகங்களை பார்த்து, ரசிப்பதற்கு மக்கள் ஆர்வமாக இருக்கின்றனர். எங்கள் முன்னோர்கள் கடைபிடித்த இந்த பழக்கம், எங்கள் அடையாளமாகி விட்டது. இந்த பாரம்பரியத்தை நாங்க கைவிடாமல் தொடர்கிறோம். நாடகம் போடுவதற்கு ஏழு தினங்களுக்கு முன் பந்தகால் முகூர்த்தம் செய்வோம். நாடகத்தில் நடிப்பவர்கள் விரதம் இருந்து நடிப்பார்கள். சிறுவர்கள் முதல் பெரியவர்கள் வரை இதில் நடித்தாலும், பெண்கள் நாடகத்தில் நடிப்பதில்லை. பெண் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் ஆண்களே பெண் வேடமிட்டு நடிப்பார்கள். நாடகத்துக்கு தேவையான அலங்கார உடைகள், ஆபரணங்கள் போன்ற அனைத்து பொருட்களும் நாங்க சொந்தமாக வைத்திருக்கிறோம். இரவு பத்து மணிக்கு நாடகம் தொடங்கினால் அதிகாலை 5 மணிக்கு முடியும். எங்க கிராமத்தினர், ஏகாதசியன்று ஸ்ரீரங்கம் ரெங்கநாதரை நினைத்து வழிபடுவோம். சரித்திர நாடகத்தை கண்டு ரசிக்கும் மக்கள் பின்னர் சித்திரை மாதம் திருச்சி ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தில் நடைபெறும் சித்திரை தேரோட்டத்தில் எங்க கிராம மக்கள் 100 பேராவது கலந்து கொண்டு பாட்டுப்பாடி, தேரை வடம் பிடித்து இழுப்பார்கள். பெருமாளை வழிபட்டு ஒரு நாள் முழுவதும் அங்கேயே தங்கி திரும்புவதை இப்போதும் கடைபிடிக்கின்றனர். நாங்க பிறவி நடிகர்கள் இல்லை, கலைஞர்கள் இல்லை. ஆனாலும் முழு திறமையை வெளிக்காட்டி நடிக்கும் போது கிராம மக்கள் கைத்தட்டி எங்களுக்கான அங்கீகாரத்தை கொடுப்பார்கள். எங்க ஊர் நாடக கொட்டகையில் 200 ஆண்டுகளாக கைத்தட்டல் நிற்கவில்லை. நாங்க, எப்போதும் நடிப்பை கைவிட மாட்டோம். அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கும் இதை கடத்துவோம். ஒவ்வொரு ஏகாதசியிலும் எங்க ஊர் நாடக கொட்டகை சினிமா தியேட்டராக மாறி விடும், எங்களோட நடிப்பில் திருவிழா களைக்கட்டும் என்றார்.

Delhi High Court issues temporary ban on copycat “Little Hearts” Biscuits, grants relief to Britannia

Mumbai: The Delhi High Court has granted interim relief to Britannia Industries Ltd by issuing an ad-interim injunction against Shri Swastik Organics and its associated entities for allegedly infringing Britannia’s iconic “Little Hearts” biscuit brand and design.As per reports, Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, in an order dated December 23, 2025, held that Britannia had established a strong prima facie case of trademark and copyright infringement. The Court restrained the defendants from manufacturing, selling, advertising, or distributing biscuits using the “Little Hearts” name, heart-shaped design, or deceptively similar packaging.Court Applies ‘Triple Identity’ TestThe High Court observed that the rival biscuits were identical to Britannia’s product in three critical aspects — product category, trademark, and trade channel. Applying the “triple identity” test, the Court noted that the use of the same mark, identical heart-shaped biscuits, and overlapping sales platforms was likely to cause confusion among consumers.The Court also took note of the allegedly dishonest adoption of Britannia’s branding elements, including the use of copyrighted product images and packaging that closely resembled the original “Little Hearts” biscuits.Britannia’s Longstanding Brand RightsBritannia informed the Court that it has been using the “Little Hearts” trademark since 1988, with the heart-shaped, sugar-coated biscuits introduced in 1993. The company holds registered trademarks for both the wordmark and the distinctive 3D biscuit shape. It also submitted sales figures and market data to demonstrate the brand’s substantial goodwill and consumer recognition.Infringement Discovered Through Online ListingsThe infringement came to light in December 2025 when Britannia identified listings on Amazon offering biscuits under the same name and shape. The listings reportedly referred to “Britannia Little Hearts” and displayed packaging visuals closely mirroring the original product. Upon investigation, the sellers were traced back to Shri Swastik Organics and its affiliates.Directions to Amazon and Next HearingAlongside restraining the defendants, the Court directed Amazon to remove all infringing listings from its platform. Mumbai: India has reached a major milestone in its digital journey, with the country’s broadband subscriber base crossing the 1 billion (100 crore) mark in November 2025, according to data released by the Press Information Bureau on January 1, 2026.The broadband user base has grown more than six-fold over the past decade—from 131.49 million (13.15 crore) subscribers to 100.37 crore—driven by rapid expansion of high-speed internet infrastructure, affordable data plans, and sustained efforts by both the government and private sector to bridge the digital divide across urban and rural regions.The surge highlights the growing role of broadband connectivity as a foundational pillar of India’s digital economy. Improved access to high-speed internet has transformed communication, education, commerce, and public service delivery, while enabling the expansion of sectors such as e-commerce, telemedicine, online education, fintech, and digital governance.India’s broadband footprint now ranks among the largest globally, reinforcing its position as a fast-growing digital ecosystem.
