ஆனால் எனது வைராக்கியம், இன்றுவரை நான் இந்த உடையிலேயே எனது பாதையில் பயணித்து வருகிறேன். 2016 ஆம் ஆண்டு `அஹிம்சா சோஷியலிஸ்ட்' கட்சியைத் தொடங்கினேன். மற்ற கட்சிகள் பெயரளவிற்கு மட்டுமே அஹிம்சை என்ற வார்த்தையைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர். ஆனால் அஹிம்சை என்ற இலக்கை மையமாகக் கொண்டு இந்த இயக்கம் செயல்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இன்றைக்கு அரசியல் 'சேவை என்பதைத் தாண்டி, வியாபாரமாக' மாறிவிட்டது. எளிய பின்னணியில் இருந்து சமூகத்திற்காக தன்னலமற்று உழைக்கக்கூடிய நபர்கள்தான் அரசியலுக்கு வர வேண்டும். தேர்தல் நேரத்தில் வெற்றி, தோல்வி என்பதைத் தாண்டி தேர்தலில் ஒரு தத்துவத்தை மக்களிடையே பரப்ப வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் என்னுடைய நோக்கம். இதுவரை ஒரு லட்சத்து 30 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வைப்புத் தொகையாகக் கட்டி இருக்கிறேன். இதுவரையில் எந்த தேர்தலிலும் நான் செலுத்திய வைப்புத் தொகை திரும்பக் கிடைத்ததில்லை. அதைப் பற்றி நான் கவலைப்படுவதும் கிடையாது. பல கோடிகள் புழங்கும் இந்த அரசியலில் நிச்சயம் வெற்றி பெறுவேன் என்ற நம்பிக்கை எனக்கு இருக்கிறது. நாம் இந்த சமூகத்தில் பிறந்து விட்டோம், இந்த சமூகத்திற்காக ஏதாவது செய்ய வேண்டும். எனது இந்தப் பயணத்தில் மக்களிடையே சற்று விழிப்புணர்வு வந்துள்ளது. அதிகாரிகளிடம் லஞ்சம் கொடுப்பதும் அவர்கள் லஞ்சம் கேட்டால் எதிர்க்கும் நிலையும் பாமர மக்களிடையே வந்து இருக்கிறது. தேர்தல் பரப்புரையில், `நீங்க என்ன ஜெயிச்சிடுவிங்களா?' என்று மக்களே கேட்பார்கள். `நீங்கள் தனியாக ஓட்டு கேட்கிறீர்கள்? இந்தக் காலத்தில் காந்திய கொள்கைகள் எல்லாம் எடுபடுமா?' எனப் பல கேள்விகளை மக்கள் கேட்பார்கள். தேர்தல் பரப்புரைக்காக பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான ரூபாய் செலவழிக்கப்படுகிறது. வசதியானவர்களும், பணம் கொடுப்பவர்களும், கும்பலாக வருபவர்களும் ஒருபோதும் உங்களுக்காக உழைக்க மாட்டார்கள் என்பதை, தொடர்ந்து மக்களிடம் சொல்லி வருகிறோம். இப்போதிருக்கும் எந்த மக்கள் பிரதிநிதியாவது அதிகாரிகளை நோக்கி லஞ்சம் வாங்கக் கூடாது எனப் பேச தைரியம் இருக்கிறதா? நான் மக்கள் பிரதிநிதியாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டால், அது மாவட்ட ஆட்சியராகவே இருந்தாலும் நிச்சயமாக நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பேன். சர்வதேச தமிழ்ப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் எனக்கு இரண்டு விருதுகளை வழங்கியுள்ளது. மதிப்புறு முனைவர் பட்டமும் வழங்கியிருக்கிறது. இந்திய யோகா கூட்டமைப்பு சார்பில் எனக்கு கர்மயோகி விருது வழங்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. சமீபத்தில் சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் காலநிலை மாற்றத்துறை சார்பில், முதலமைச்சரின் நீர்நிலைப் பாதுகாவலர் விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டு திமுக ஆட்சி பொறுப்பு ஏற்ற பிறகு அப்போதைய நிதி அமைச்சர் பழனிவேல் தியாகராஜன் தமிழ்நாட்டின் நிதி நிலைமை குறித்தான வெள்ளை அறிக்கை வெளியிட்டார். அதில் ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்தின் மீதும் இரண்டரை லட்சம் கடன் சுமை உள்ளதாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார். இது குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக எனது குடும்பத்தின் சார்பில் 2 லட்சம் அடங்கிய காசோலை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகத்திற்கு எடுத்துச் சென்றேன். ஆனால் அதனை வாங்க மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் மறுத்துவிட்டார். கிராமப்புறங்களில் அரசின் 100 நாள் வேலை வாய்ப்பு திட்டத்தை திறம்பட எடுத்துச் செல்லவும் அரசு அலுவலகங்களில் ஊழல் லஞ்சத்தை ஒழிக்க மக்களிடையே விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவும் பலவிதமான போராட்டங்களை முன்னெடுத்து இருக்கிறேன். ஒவ்வொரு குடியரசு மற்றும் சுதந்திர தினத்தின்போது இந்தியாவின் முதல் குடிமகனான குடியரசுத் தலைவர் கிராமங்களுக்குச் சென்று கொடியேற்ற வேண்டும். அந்த வகையில் எங்கள் கிராமத்திற்கும் வந்து கொடியேற்ற வேண்டும் என மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரின் வாயிலாக மனு ஒன்றை அனுப்பி இருக்கிறேன். தற்கால மாணவர்களிடையே காந்தியும் சென்று சேரவில்லை... அது நிச்சயமாக சென்று சேர வேண்டும். அதனால்தான் இன்று வன்முறை போராட்டங்கள், மதுபோதையில் ஒரு தலைமுறையே சீரழிந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இயக்குநர்களுக்கு கடிதம் எழுதும் திட்டம் இருக்கிறதாமே! ஆம். இயக்குநர்களுக்கு கடிதம் எழுதும் திட்டத்தில்தான் இருக்கிறேன். இந்த சமூக சீரழிவுக்கு ஒரு விதத்தில் சினிமா இயக்குநர்களும் காரணமாக இருக்கிறார்கள். படத்தில் வன்முறைக் காட்சிகளும் ஆபாச சொல்லாடல்களும், போதை காட்சிகளும் சமூகத்தில் நஞ்சைப் பரப்பிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. அதற்கு பதிலாக நல்ல கருத்துக்களையும் நல்ல அரசியலையும் கொண்டுவருவதற்கான முயற்சிகளை எடுக்க வேண்டும். இந்தச் சமூகத்தை சீர்திருத்தும் வலிமை திரைத்துறைக்கு உண்டு. ஆனால் அதை தவறுதலாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டு இருக்கின்றனர். மனிதனை மனிதன் முதலில் மதிக்க வேண்டும். மதங்கள் அன்பைத்தான் போதிக்கின்றன. மற்றவர்கள் மீது வெறுப்பைக் கக்குவதற்கு அல்ல. நாட்டில் ஊழலையும் லஞ்சத்தையும் ஒழித்து விட்டால் நாடு நிச்சயம் வல்லரசாக மாறும்... நாட்டில் பசி, வறுமை, பாதி சமூக தீமைகள் ஒழிந்து விடும். இந்தப் பணத்தை வைத்துக் கொண்டு என்ன செய்வது என்று நாமே நினைப்போம்! அதை நோக்கியது தான் எனது இந்தப் பயணம் என்கிறார், காந்தியவாதி ரமேஷ்.

நாயுடன் நடைபயிற்சி; விளையாட்டு வீரர்களை வெளியேற்றிய ஐ.ஏ.எஸ், டெல்லி மாநகராட்சி கமிஷனராக நியமனம்!

டெல்லி மாநகராட்சிக்கு புதிய கமிஷனராக ஐ.ஏ.எஸ் அதிகாரி சஞ்சீவ் கிர்வார் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இந்த ஐ.ஏ.எஸ் அதிகாரி இதற்கு முன்பு டெல்லியில் வருவாய்த்துறை முதன்மைச் செயலாளராக இருந்தபோது, நாயுடன் நடைபயிற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டு சர்ச்சையில் சிக்கினார். 2022-ம் ஆண்டு தினமும் மாலையில் அங்குள்ள தியாகராஜ் மைதானத்தில் தனது நாயுடன் சஞ்சீவ் கிர்வார் நடைபயிற்சியில் ஈடுபடுவது வழக்கம். சஞ்சீவ் நாயுடன் நடைபயிற்சியில் ஈடுபட வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக மைதானத்தில் விளையாட்டு பயிற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டு இருந்த தடகள வீரர்கள் அனைவரையும் மாலை 7 மணிக்கே மைதானத்தை விட்டு வெளியேறும் படி கூறியதாக குற்றச்சாட்டு எழுந்தது. தடகள வீரர்கள் வழக்கமாக இரவு 8.30 மணி வரை விளையாட்டு பயிற்சியில் ஈடுபடுவது வழக்கம். ஆனால் நாயுடன் நடைபயிற்சியில் ஈடுபடவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக மாலை 7 மணிக்கே எங்களை மைதானத்தை விட்டு வெளியேறும்படி கூறினர் என்று பயிற்சியாளர் ஒருவர் குற்றம் சாட்டினார். ஆனால் இக்குற்றச்சாட்டை மறுத்த சஞ்சீவ், சில நேரம் நாயுடன் நடைபயிற்சிக்கு செல்வது வழக்கம். ஆனால் நடைபயிற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தபோது தடகள வீரர்களுக்கு எந்த வித இடையூறும் செய்தது கிடையாது என்று குறிப்பிட்டு இருந்தார். இதையடுத்து அப்போது முதல்வராக இருந்த அர்விந்த் கெஜ்ரிவால் டெல்லியில் உள்ள அனைத்து விளையாட்டு மைதானங்களும் விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்காக இரவு 10 மணி வரை திறந்திருக்கும் என்று அறிவித்தார். இந்த நாய் சர்ச்சையை தொடர்ந்து சஞ்சீவ் கிர்வாரை மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகம் லடாக்கிற்கு இடமாற்றம் செய்தது. தற்போது டெல்லியில் பா.ஜ.க அரசு பதவியேற்றுள்ள நிலையில் சஞ்சீவ் கிர்வார் டெல்லி மாநகராட்சி கமிஷனராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். தற்போது டெல்லி மாநகராட்சி கமிஷனராக இருக்கும் அஸ்வனிகுமார் ஜம்மு காஷ்மீருக்கு இடமாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

சுயமரியாதை இயக்கத்தின் நூற்றாண்டு நினைவு விழாவை முன்னிட்டு திராவிட வரலாற்று ஆராய்ச்சி மையத்தின் சார்பில், 'இந்தியாவின் வரலாற்றைச் சிதைவுகளிலிருந்து மீட்டெடுத்தல்' என்ற தலைப்பிலான ஒரு நாள் மாநில மாநாடு மதுரையில் உள்ள தனியார் கல்லூரியில் நேற்று நடைபெற்றது. இதில் இந்திய தொல்லியல் ஆய்வாளர் அமர்நாத் ராமகிருஷ்ணன் கலந்து கொண்டு பேசுகையில், “கீழடி உலகம் முழுவதும் பேசப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் கீழடி என்றாலே ஏன் சிலருக்குப் பயம் வருகிறது? இந்தியா என்ற பன்முகத்தன்மைக்கு எதிராகப் பயம் கொண்டுள்ளார்கள். அது ஏன் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை? இதற்கு விரிவான அகழாய்வு நடைபெற்றதே காரணம். 2015 வரை எனக்கு கீழடி பற்றி தெரியாது. ஆனால் இன்றைக்கு கீழடி குறித்து உலகம் முழுவதும் பேசப்படுகிறது. 150க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தொல்லியல் ஆய்வுகள் நடைபெற்று இருக்கின்றன. 15 லட்சம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே மனிதர்கள் வாழ்ந்ததற்கான தடயங்கள் கிடைத்துள்ள ஒரே இடம் என்றால் அது தமிழ்நாடுதான். கீழடி ஹோமோசேப்பியன்ஸ் என்கிற மனித இனம் இரண்டு லட்சம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் தோன்றியது. அந்த மனிதன் 60 ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் இந்தியாவில் குடியேறி உள்ளான். அப்படிக் குடியேறிய மனிதன் இன்னும் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறான். அவனுடைய மரபணு இன்னும் கிடைக்கிறது. குறிப்பாக நம்முடைய மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள உசிலம்பட்டியில்தான் இந்த ஹோமோசேப்பியன்ஸின் மரபணு உள்ளதாகக் கண்டுபிடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். நாம் கடந்த 60,000 ஆண்டுகளாகத் தொடர்ச்சியாக இங்கு வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். ஆனால், இந்த வரலாற்று உண்மையை இன்று முழுமையாக யாரும் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை என்பதுதான் வருத்தமான விஷயம். ஆனால் நமக்கு கி.மு. 300-இல் தான் நமது சங்கக் காலமும், நாகரிகமும் தொடங்குகிறது என இன்று வரை வரலாற்று மாணவர்களுக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்து வருகிறார்கள். தமிழகத்தில் நடத்தப்பட்டிருக்கும் ஆய்வுகள் மூலம் பல ஆதாரங்கள் கிடைத்துள்ளன. இந்த ஆதாரங்கள் எல்லாம் வெளிப்படையாக வெளி உலகிற்குத் தெரியாத காரணத்தாலேயே நமது வரலாற்றை இன்றும் மாற்ற முடியாமல் இருக்கின்றோம். அது எப்போது மாறும். கீழடி அகழாய்வு இதை மாற்ற முயல்வதாலேயே இவ்வளவு பிரச்னைகளை எதிர்கொண்டு வருகிறோம். எவ்வளவோ ஆய்வுகள் நடந்து இருக்கின்றன. உண்மைக் கருத்துகளைச் சொல்வது என்பதில் ஆணித்தரமாக உள்ளோம். என்னிடம் இருக்கும் ஆய்வறிக்கை வெளியே வந்தால்தான் உலகத்துக்குத் தெரியும். ஆனால் அதை வெளியிடுவதில் பல தடங்கல்கள் ஏற்படுகின்றன. தொல்லியலில் ஆதாரங்கள் கிடைக்கும் போதெல்லாம் பல மாற்றங்களை ஏற்படுத்தும். கீழடி: ``2500 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் வாழ்ந்த தமிழர் முகங்கள்..'' - வடிவமைத்த இங்கிலாந்து பல்கலைக்கழகம்! கீழடி ஆய்வு அறிக்கையில் திருத்தம் செய்வதற்கு எந்தச் சாத்தியமும் இல்லை. அந்த அறிக்கை வெளியானால் அது இன்னும் நிறைய ஆய்வுகளுக்கு வழிவகுக்கும். நாம் கதையிலேயே மூழ்கி விட்டோம், வரலாற்றை எழுதி வைப்பதில்லை. குறிப்பாக இராமாயணம், மகாபாரதம் ஆகிய புராணங்களைக் கேட்பதே நம்முடைய வாடிக்கையாக இருக்கிறது. கீழடி ஆய்வு நம்முடைய வரலாற்றை எழுத வேண்டும் என்கிற எண்ணமே நமக்கு இல்லை. நம்மை ஆட்சி செய்த ஆங்கிலேயர்கள்தான் நமக்கு வரலாறு எழுதுவது குறித்து சொல்லிக் கொடுத்தார்கள். வரலாற்றை அறிவியலாகப் பார்க்க வேண்டும். கீழடி, ஆதிச்சநல்லூர், சிந்துவெளிக்கெல்லாம் முந்தைய நாகரிகம்... பானை ஓட்டில் எழுதும் பழக்கம் இந்தியாவிலேயே தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டுமே இருந்தது. 1672 பானைகளில் எழுத்துகளைக் கண்டுபிடித்திருக்கிறோம். பானையில் சாமானிய மனிதர்கள்தான் எழுதுவார்கள், இதன் மூலம் அப்போதே சாமானிய மக்களுக்கு எழுத்தறிவு என்பது இருந்திருக்கிறது. ஆய்வுகளில் கிடைக்கும் செய்திகளைச் சரியான கண்ணோட்டத்துடன் மக்களுக்குக் கொண்டு செல்ல வேண்டும். கீழடி மக்கள் நிரந்தரமாக வாழ்ந்தால்தான் புதைப்பிடம் உருவாக்குவார்கள். நாடோடிகளுக்கு அது தேவையில்லை. தமிழகத்தில் மட்டும் அதிக அளவிலான புதைப்பிடங்களைத் தேடினோம். அதற்கான இடங்களைத் தேடிய போது கிடைத்த இடம்தான் கீழடி. ஆனால் கீழடியில் இதுவரை 5 சதவீதம் ஆய்வுகூட செய்யப்படவில்லை. இந்த ஆய்வே இன்று உலகைப் பேச வைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது” என்றார். கீழடி: சிந்து சமவெளி நாகரிகத்தை உருவாக்கியது திராவிடப் பழங்குடிகள் - அமர்நாத் ராமகிருஷ்ணா பேச்சு

மும்பையில் ஏராளமானோர் யாசகம் பெற்று வாழ்கின்றனர். அவர்களில் பலர் தங்களது குடும்பத்தை விட்டு பிரிந்தவர்களாகவோ அல்லது உறவுகள் அற்றவர்களாகவோ இருக்கின்றனர். அவ்வாறு மும்பையில் யாசகம் பெறுபவர்களை மீட்டு போலீஸார் நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகின்றனர். மும்பை பைகுலாவில் உள்ள ஜெ.ஜெ.மார்க் சந்திப்பில் 70 வயது மதிக்கத்தக்க பெண் ஒருவர் மிகவும் மோசமான நிலையில் சரியாக உடைகூட அணியாமல் பசியுடன் யாசகம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அவரை போலீஸார் அழைத்து சென்று குளிக்க வைத்து வேறு ஆடை கொடுத்து சாப்பாடு வாங்கி கொடுத்தனர். அப்பெண் தனது நினைவுகளை இழந்திருந்தார். அவரது உறவினர்கள் அல்லது சொந்த ஊர் குறித்து எதுவும் அவருக்கு நினைவில் இல்லை. கோதாவரி என்ற பெயர் மட்டும் அவருக்கு நினைவில் இருந்தது. அவரைப்பற்றிய எந்த தகவலும் கிடைக்காததால் அவரை செம்பூரில் உள்ள முகாமில் சேர்த்தனர். அங்கு இருந்தவர்கள் அப்பெண்ணிற்கு கவுன்சிலிங் கொடுத்தனர். இதில் அப்பெண் ஷெலு என்ற ஒரு வார்த்தையை மட்டும் அடிக்கடி சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். ஷெலு என்பது மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலம் பர்பானி அருகில் உள்ள ஒரு கிராமம் ஆகும். குடும்பத்தோடு சேர்த்து வைத்தபோலீஸார் மும்பை போலீஸார் உடனே ஷெலு போலீஸ் நிலையத்தை தொடர்பு கொண்டு விசாரித்தனர். அதோடு அப்பெண்ணின் புகைப்படத்தையும் அப்போலீஸ் நிலையத்திற்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். ஷெலு போலீஸார் 12 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முந்தைய ஆவணங்களை ஆய்வு செய்து வைசாலி என்ற பெண் காணாமல் போனதாக புகார் பதிவாகி இருப்பதை உறுதி செய்தனர். ஷெலு போலீஸார் உடனே புகார் கொடுத்தவர்களை தொடர்பு கொண்டு வரவழைத்தனர். அவர்கள் வந்து அப்பெண்ணின் புகைப்படத்தை பார்த்து அது அவர்களின் தாயார் என்பதை உறுதி செய்தனர். வைசாலி 12 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு மும்பை வந்தபோது வழி தவறி சென்றுள்ளார். அதன் பிறகு அவரால் தனது சொந்த ஊருக்கு செல்ல முடியவில்லை. தனது தாயார் இருக்கிறார் என்று தெரிந்தவுடன் அவரது இளைய மகன் கிஷோர் தனது தாயாருக்காக எடுத்து வைத்திருந்த சேலை மற்றும் உணவு எடுத்துக்கொண்டு மும்பைக்கு வந்தார். வைசாலிக்கு மூன்று மகன்கள் இருக்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் பெரியவர்களாகிவிட்டனர். போலீஸார் வைசாலியை அவரது மகன்களோடு சேர்த்து வைத்தபோது அவர்கள் ஆனந்த கண்ணீர் விட்டனர். இச்சந்திப்பு உணர்ச்சிப்பூர்வமாக அமைந்தது. அப்பெண்ணை அவரது மகன்களுடன் சேர்த்து வைத்த போலீஸாரை பாராட்டி அவர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

குஜராத் மாநிலம் சூரத் அருகில் உள்ள தட்கேஷ்வர் என்ற கிராமத்தில் மாநில அரசு, 33 கிராமங்களுக்கு தண்ணீர் சப்ளை செய்வதற்காக ரூ.21 கோடியில் 9 லட்சம் லிட்டர் தண்ணீரை சேமிக்கும் வகையில் 15 மீட்டரில் பிரம்மாண்ட தண்ணீர் டேங்க் ஒன்றை கட்டியது. இதனை கட்டுவதற்கு தனியார் ஒப்பந்ததாரர் ஒருவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தார். அவர் சமீபத்தில் தண்ணீர் டேங்கை கட்டி முடித்தார். இதையடுத்து அரசு பொறியாளர்கள் தண்ணீர் டேங்கை ஆய்வு செய்வதற்காக வந்தனர். அவர்கள் தண்ணீர் டேங்க் முழுக்க தண்ணீரை நிரப்பினர். தண்ணீரை நிரப்பியபோதே தொட்டியில் கசிவு ஏற்பட்டது. தண்ணீர் முழுமையாக நிரப்பியவுடன் அதிகாரிகள் முன்னிலையில் தொட்டி அப்படியே இடிந்து விழுந்தது. அதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக இதில் யாருக்கும் பாதிப்பு ஏற்படவில்லை. 3 பேர் காயம் அடைந்தனர். கட்டி முடிக்கப்பட்டவுடன் தண்ணீர் தொட்டி இடிந்து விழுந்திருப்பது அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தி இருக்கிறது. மிகவும் தரமில்லாத பொருட்களை கொண்டு தண்ணீர் தொட்டி கட்டப்பட்டு இருப்பதாக பொதுமக்கள் குற்றம் சாட்டினர். சம்பவத்திற்கு காரணமானவர்களை கண்டுபிடிக்க மாநில அரசு 7 தனிப்பிரிவுகளை அமைத்து இருக்கிறது. இது தவிர போலீஸார் இது தொடர்பாக வழக்கும் பதிவு செய்து அதிரடி ரெய்டு நடத்தி 7 பேரை கைது செய்து இருக்கின்றனர். மேலும் அரசின் துணை நிர்வாக பொறுப்பாளர் இதற்கு காரணம் என்று தெரிய வந்துள்ளது. அவரையும் கைது செய்ய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் தொடர்புடைய பல அதிகாரிகள் பணியில் இருந்து சஸ்பெண்ட் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். ரூ.21 கோடியில் கட்டப்பட்ட தண்ணீர் தொட்டி நொடியில் அப்படியே அப்பளம் போன்று உடைந்து விழுந்தது மாநில அரசுக்கு தர்மசங்கடத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி இருக்கிறது.
