கடந்த 31 ஆண்டுகள் ஆயுள் தண்டனை விதிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில் தமிழ் அரசியல் கைதியாக சிறை வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் தோப்பூர்-மூதுரைச் சேர்ந்த, கதிர்காமத்தம்பி சிவகுமார் என்பவரின் சகோதரி சுப்பிரமணியம் கமலாதேவி புற்றுநோயினால் உயிரிழந்துள்ளார். தாய்-தந்தை, குடும்பம்-உறவு என எவருமற்ற தனது தம்பியை தான் வாழும் காலத்திலேயே சிறை மீட்டுவிட வேண்டும் என்று அயராது பாடுபட்டு வந்த அந்த சகோதரி,நேற்றைய தினம் தனது 79வது வயதில், நிறைவேறாக் கனவோடு மரணித்துள்ளார். சகோதரனின் விடுதலைக்காக அரசிடம் மன்றாடி மனமுடைந்து, புற்றுநோயின் பாதிப்பிற்கு ஆளாகி நீண்ட நாட்களாக படுக்கை நோயாளியாக இருந்து அவர் சாவடைந்துள்ளார். உயிரிழந்த தமிழ் அரசியல் கைதியின் சகோதரியின் பூதவுடல் அவரது சொந்த ஊரான திருகோணமலை மாவட்டத்தின் தோப்பூர் -நாராயணபுரம், பாலத்தடிச்சேனை இந்து மயானத்தில் இன்று வியாழக்கிழமை தகனக்கிரியை செய்யப்பட்டது. இறுதிக் கிரியையில் குரலற்றோர் குரல் அமைப்பின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் முருகையா கோமகன் உள்ளிட்டவர்கள் பலரும் கலந்து கொண்டமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Mumbai: Netflix has announced the launch of Eyeline Studios in Hyderabad, marking a significant long-term investment in India’s Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) ecosystem and expanding the company’s global production innovation infrastructure.The launch event was led by Jeff Shapiro alongside Anumula Revanth Reddy, Sanjay Jaju, and actor-producer Rana Daggubati.The new facility spans 32,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for advanced visual effects and generative virtual effects, supported by a hybrid cloud infrastructure. Tonse has been appointed for a three-year term and will assume the role of MD & CEO from April 6, 2026, succeeding the incumbent Prashant Kumar.A seasoned banker with over three and a half decades of experience, Tonse has held leadership roles across treasury, retail banking, corporate banking, international operations and asset management.
