நேற்று முன் தினம் (மார்ச்.1) நடந்த டி20 உலகக்கோப்பைத் தொடரின் சூப்பர் 8 சுற்றில் வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் அணியை 5 விக்கெட் வித்தியாசத்தில் வீழ்த்தி இந்திய அணி அரையிறுதி சுற்றுக்கு முன்னேறியது. இந்தப் போட்டியில் 97 ரன்கள் குவித்து இந்திய அணியின் வெற்றிக்கு சஞ்சு சாம்சன் முக்கிய பங்காற்றியிருந்தார். சஞ்சு சாம்சனின் அதிரடி ஆட்டத்தை பலரும் பாராட்டியிருந்தனர். சஞ்சு சாம்சன் இந்நிலையில் காங்கிரஸ் எம்.பி சசிதரூர் சஞ்சு சாம்சனை பாராட்டி இருக்கிறார். சஞ்சு சாம்சனுக்கு 14 வயது இருக்கும் போதிலிருந்தே எனக்குத் தெரியும். திருவனந்தபுரத்தில் அவர் விளையாடிய ஆரம்ப நாட்களிலிருந்தே அவரது வளர்ச்சியை நான் கவனித்து வருகிறேன். அவரது தொகுதி எம்.பி என்ற முறையிலும், ஒரு தீவிர ரசிகராகவும் அவர் இந்திய அணிக்காக விளையாடுவதைப் பார்ப்பதில் எனக்குப் பெருமிதம் உண்டு. சஞ்சு எடுத்த 97 ரன்கள் அவரது வாழ்நாளின் மிகச்சிறந்த இன்னிங்ஸ் என்று சொல்லலாம். தொடக்கத்திலிருந்தே எந்தவிதமான தடுமாற்றமும் இல்லாமல் நேர்த்தியாக விளையாடினார். சசி தரூர் ஒரு சிலர் அணியில் இடம்பெற பேட்டிங் இடத்தை மாற்றிக்கொண்டே இருந்ததால் அவரது திறமையை வெளிகாட்ட அவருக்கு சரியான வாய்ப்புகள் வழங்கப்படவில்லை. வாழ்வா - சாவா போட்டியில் அர்ஜூனன் இலக்கை குறிவைப்பது போல தளராமல் தன் ஆட்டத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தி உலகிற்கு அவர் யார் என்று நிரூபித்து காட்டியிருக்கிறார் என சஞ்சு சாம்சனை, சசி தரூர் புகழ்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

New Delhi: Marking one year since its establishment, the Indian Influencer Governance Council (IIGC) has introduced the Indian Influencer Contract Standard (IICS), India’s first standardised contract framework for influencer-brand collaborations. Developed and issued by IIGC along with legal knowledge partners Trilegal, the IICS aims to institutionalise brand-creator partnerships and address inconsistencies in how influencer engagements are executed across India’s rapidly expanding creator ecosystem.While influencer marketing has evolved into a key pillar of brand strategy, many collaborations continue to rely on informal arrangements or varied templates that often fail to interpret scope and obligations correctly. This has led to recurring challenges around payment structures, intellectual property ownership and usage rights, revisions and approvals, exclusivity, morality clauses and dispute resolution.The IICS seeks to establish a neutral, industry-level contractual baseline, bringing greater clarity and alignment to these areas for all stakeholders. The framework includes legal and commercial provisions specifically relevant to influencer-brand partnerships, while retaining flexibility for campaign-specific negotiation through an additional Statement of Work. Addressing Recurring Industry Frictions The IICS framework addresses several common points of friction in influencer campaigns, including: Clear Statement of Work and revision processes Content ownership and usage rights Disclosures and compliance obligations Clear payment clauses, including timelines, performance-linked payments and structured escalation mechanisms Prohibition on paid or artificial methods to inflate campaign performance A structured approach to morality and reputational considerations The framework also incorporates a dispute resolution mechanism, with the first step being mediation through IIGC’s Task Force. This mediation stage is designed to help resolve issues before they escalate, potentially mitigating financial and reputational risks for both brands and creators.IIGC clarified that the IICS is not a mandate or enforcement mechanism and does not eliminate risks entirely. For distributors and consumers alike, the cumulative impact is likely to be material. Sony Sharpens Regional and HD Pricing SPNI’s updated RIO outlines a combination of channel price hikes, bouquet revisions and upcoming launches. The broadcaster has indicated that Sony Sports Ten 4 Kannada may debut on or after April 1, 2026. Subject to regulatory approvals, Sony VIZHA and Sony VIZHA HD are slated for launch on or after June 1, 2026, followed by Sony Telugu and Sony Telugu HD on or after August 1, 2026.Until these channels go live, operators subscribing to bouquets that include them will receive proportionate discounts. For example, the Happy India 2026 Smart – Tamil bouquet, priced at ₹42, will temporarily be available at ₹29.91 until Sony VIZHA launches. PR and communications naturally reward emotional intelligence, empathy, relationship-building, and narrative understanding — skills where women have historically been encouraged to excel. However, while representation at mid-levels is strong, leadership parity still requires attention. More women are now transitioning from practitioners to founders, which is a positive structural shift. Q. Does Communication Casa prioritise work-life balance for female employees so that they stay loyal? We prioritise work-life integration rather than just balance.And this applies not only to the female team members but to the male members as well. After all, everybody has their personal life, which needs attention and respect. PR is demanding, and flexibility is essential. We encourage outcome-driven performance rather than presenteeism. While business pressures are constant, we do not view these principles as optional. It isn't 'challenging' in the sense of a struggle, but it does require constant intentionality.
