New Delhi: Network18 has announced a leadership reshuffle that places a younger generation of executives at the centre of its next phase of growth, following the departure of Avinash Kaul after a 12-year stint with the company.In an internal communication to employees, Network18 Managing Director Rahul Joshi said Kaul has decided to move on to pursue other professional and personal goals. Joshi described Kaul as an integral part of the Network18 journey, noting that he joined the company at a pivotal point during its transition in 2014 and went on to scale the television business through strategic thinking, data-led decision-making and a deep understanding of the news media landscape.While acknowledging Kaul’s contribution to the broadcast business, Joshi used the occasion to underline the emergence of what he called Network18’s “young and restless leadership team”, saying the group had already taken charge in recent months and proved its capabilities under adverse circumstances.The internal note signals that, rather than appointing a single direct replacement, Network18 is distributing responsibilities across a set of leaders who will now work more closely with Joshi and the senior management team as the company sharpens its focus across linear television, digital, social and connected TV platforms.Going forward, Smriti Mehra, S Shivakumar and Mitul Sangani will work directly with Joshi, continuing an arrangement that had already been in place through the fourth quarter. மத்திய கிழக்கு பிராந்தியத்தில் தீவிரமடைந்துள்ள போர் பதற்றம் காரணமாக உலகச் சந்தையில் அதிகரித்திருந்த மசகு எண்ணெய் விலைகள், குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அளவில் குறைந்துள்ளதாக சர்வதேச ஊடகங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. இதற்கமைய, இன்று காலை பிரெண்ட் மசகு எண்ணெய் பீப்பாய் ஒன்றின் விலை 105.82 அமெரிக்க டொலர்கள் வரை குறைந்துள்ளது. நேற்று ஒரு பிரெண்ட் மசகு எண்ணெய் பீப்பாயின் விலை 115 டொலரையும் விட அதிகரித்து காணப்பட்டது. இதேவேளை, WTI மசகு எண்ணெய் பீப்பாயின் விலையும் 93.43 டொலர்கள் வரை குறைந்துள்ளது. அதன் விலையும் நேற்று 100 டொலர்களைத் கடந்திருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

London: Unilever on Friday confirmed it has received an inbound offer for its Foods business and is in discussions with McCormick & Company, responding to recent market speculation over the future of the division. The company, however, said there can be no certainty that any transaction will be agreed.In a media announcement, Unilever said its Board continues to view Foods as “a highly attractive business” with a strong financial profile, supported by market-leading brands in growing categories, and added that it remains confident in the future of the business as part of Unilever.The statement comes after reports that Unilever was weighing strategic options for its Foods arm, including a possible separation or combination with McCormick, in what could mark another major portfolio reshaping move by the consumer goods giant. Reuters reported that the Foods business, which includes brands such as Knorr and Hellmann’s, generated more than €12.9 billion in sales in 2025, accounting for over a quarter of Unilever’s group revenue.The potential transaction is being watched closely as Unilever has been increasingly focused on higher-growth categories such as beauty, personal care and wellbeing. The company has already undertaken significant portfolio changes in recent years, and investor discussion around the Foods unit has intensified amid broader questions over how central the division remains to Unilever’s long-term strategy.At the same time, the Foods business remains one of Unilever’s largest and more profitable divisions. The character reflects the rise of pseudo-experts who present speculation as fact in the digital space.The second film follows Mental Manu, a young content creator obsessed with virality, who records and uploads personal family moments with sensational captions to gain views. The narrative underscores how trivial or intrusive content can achieve massive reach despite lacking real news value.Together, the films use humour and relatable storytelling to spotlight everyday digital behaviours such as misinformation, clickbait, and content created purely for attention. The campaign avoids direct messaging, instead letting the contrast between viral content and verified news drive its core message.Speaking about the campaign, M V Shreyams Kumar, Managing Director, Mathrubhumi Group said “In a world where information is abundant, but credibility is not, trusted journalism matters more than ever.
