திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம், கருடாழ்வார் நகரைச் சேர்ந்தவர், புனிதாஸ்ரீ (22). இவரின் வீட்டின் கீழ் தளத்தில் கோவையைச் சேர்ந்த ஜெகதீஸ் என்பவர், மனைவி மற்றும் மகளுடன் வாடகைக்கு வசித்து வந்தார். அப்போது புனிதாஸ்ரீ குடும்பத்துடன் ஜெகதீஸ் குடும்பத்தினர் நன்றாகப் பழகி வந்தனர். குறிப்பாக புனிதாஸ்ரீயிடம் ஜெகதீஸின் 16 வயது மகள், தங்கைபோல பழகி வந்திருக்கிறார். இந்த நிலையில் 16.06.2025-ம் தேதி புனிதாஸ்ரீயை சென்னைக்கு ஜெகதீஸ், அவரின் மகள் ஆகியோர் அழைத்துச் சென்றனர். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் காரில் திருவண்ணாமலையிலிருந்து சென்னைக்கு வந்தனர். தங்க நகைகள் சென்னையில் போட்டோ ஷூட் எடுக்கலாம் எனக் கூறி புனிதாஸ்ரீயிடம் தங்க ஆரம், தங்கச்சங்கிலி, மோதிரம், கம்மல் என 16 சவரன் தங்க நகைகள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொண்டு வரும்படி ஏற்கெனவே ஜெகதீஸ் கூறியிருந்தார். அதன்படி புனிதாஸ்ரீயும் தங்க நகைகளை வீட்டிலிருந்து எடுத்து வந்தார். அதைத் தொடர்ந்து ராயப்பேட்டையில் உள்ள ஒரு வணிக வளாகத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு துணிக்கடைக்கு புனிதாஸ்ரீ, அவரின் தம்பி மற்றும் ஜெகதீஸ் அவரின் மகள் ஆகியோர் சென்றனர். அங்கு புனிதாஸ்ரீக்கும் அவரின் தம்பிக்கும் ஜெகதீஸ் புதிய துணிகளை எடுத்துக் கொடுத்தார். அதை அங்குள்ள உடைமாற்றும் அறைக்கு எடுத்துச் சென்று போட்டு பார்க்குமாறு ஜெகதீஸ் புனிதாஸ்ரீயிடம் கூறினார். உடனே புதிய டிரஸ் போட்டு பார்க்கும் ஆசையில் புனிதாஸ்ரீ, தான் வைத்திருந்த தங்க நகைகளை ஜெகதீஸிடம் கொடுத்துவிட்டுச் சென்றிருக்கிறார. பின்னர் புனிதாஸ்ரீ வெளியில் வந்து பார்த்தபோது ஜெகதீஸ், அவரின் மகளான 16 வயது சிறுமி ஆகியோர் அங்கு இல்லை. அதனால் வணிக வளாகம் முழுவதும் புனிதாஸ்ரீயும் அவரின் தம்பியும் ஜெகதீஸையும் அவரின் மகளையும் தேடிப் பார்த்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்களை கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியவில்லை. இதையடுத்து புனிதாஸ்ரீ, போன் மூலம் தன்னுடைய குடும்பத்தினருக்கு ஜெகதீஸ் குடும்பம் குறித்து விசாரித்திருக்கிறார். அப்போது ஜெகதீஸ் குடும்பம் வீட்டுக்கு வரவில்லை எனத் தெரியவந்தது. அவர்களது குடும்பத்தினரின் செல்போன்கள் அனைத்தும் சுவிட்ச் ஆஃப் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது. அதன் பிறகே ஜெகதீஸ் குடும்பத்தினர் மீது புனிதாஸ்ரீக்கு சந்தேகம் எழுந்தது. கைது பின்னர், அண்ணாசாலை காவல் நிலையத்தில் 16 சவரன் தங்க நகைகள், செல்போன்கள் ஆகியவற்றை நூதன முறையில் ஏமாற்றி எடுத்துச் சென்ற ஜெகதீஸ், அவரின் மகளான 16 வயது சிறுமி ஆகியோர் மீது புனிதாஸ்ரீ புகாரளித்தார். அதன்பேரில் அண்ணாசாலை போலீஸார் வழக்குப்பதிந்து ஜெகதீஸையும் அவரின் மகளையும் தேடிவந்தனர். இந்தநிலையில் தலைமறைவாக இருந்த ஜெகதீஸ்(52) அவரின் மகளான 16 வயது சிறுமியை போலீஸார் கண்டுபிடித்து விசாரணைக்காக காவல் நிலையத்துக்கு அழைத்து வந்தனர். அப்போதுதான் ஜெகதீஸின் சுயரூபம் வெளியில் தெரியவந்தது. கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஜெகதீஸ், அவரின் குடும்பத்தினர் வாடகை வீட்டுக்கு செல்லும் இடங்களில் வீட்டின் ஓனரிடம் நெருங்கிப் பழகி தங்க நகைகளை ஏமாற்றுவதை வாடிக்கையாக வைத்திருப்பது விசாரணையில் தெரியவந்தது. அதைப் போல புனிதாஸ்ரீயிடம் இருந்து ஏமாற்றிய 16 சவரன் தங்க நகைகளை ஜெகதீஸிடமிருந்து போலீஸார் பறிமுதல் செய்தனர். இந்த வழக்கில் தொடர்புடைய ஜெகதீஸின் மகளான 16 வயது சிறுமியை சிறுவர் சீர்திருத்தப் பள்ளியில் போலீஸார் சேர்த்தனர். தொடர்ந்து நடத்திய விசாரணையில் ஜெகதீஸ், சென்னை சாஸ்திரி நகர், வேளச்சேரியில் வாடகைக்கு வீடு எடுத்து அந்த வீட்டின் ஓனர்களையும் ஏமாற்றியிருப்பது தெரியவந்தது. விசாரணைக்குப் பிறகு ஜெகதீஸ், சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டார்.

New Delhi: The 2026 DD Free Dish MPEG-4 slot e-auctions continued to moderate on Day 3, with prices stabilising close to reserve levels across most buckets and cumulative allotments reaching 41 channels after three days of bidding.The second round of the premium Bucket A+ closed in a tight ₹16.30–₹16.35 crore band—barely 2 % above the ₹16 crore reserve price—reinforcing a softer pricing environment compared with previous cycles. Seven channels secured A+ slots in this round, adding to the high-value general entertainment cluster that already includes Sony Pal, Star Utsav, Shemaroo TV, Zee Anmol and Colors Rishtey.Overall, 15 additional MPEG-4 slots were sold on Wednesday (Day 3), following a relatively strong start on Day 1 and broader participation across categories on Day 2. Prices cool across buckets The most pronounced correction remains in Bucket C (Hindi news). The first six slots in this category closed earlier at ₹8.60–₹8.65 crore, a steep fall from the ₹13.4–₹14.35 crore range recorded for comparable slots in the 2025 auctions. Major Hindi news channels including Zee News, India TV, ABP News and Times Navbharat are clustered in this lower band in 2026.Bucket D also softened on Day 3, with devotional and regional services closing between ₹8.05 crore and ₹7.35 crore. Day 2 expanded activity into Buckets B and D while continuing allocations in A and A+. It is not for chasing valuation. This is patient, disciplined nation-building capital.” AI at an inflection point Ambani characterised artificial intelligence as being at a very early stage of its full potential, capable of ushering in what he called an era of “super-abundance.” He argued that the world currently stands at a fork: one path where AI remains scarce and expensive and controlled by a few, and another where intelligence becomes widely affordable and democratised.India, he said, must decisively pursue the latter.“India cannot afford to rent intelligence,” Ambani asserted, stressing the importance of domestic AI capabilities rather than dependence on imported infrastructure or models. He added that Jio’s ambition is to reduce the cost of intelligence as dramatically as it reduced the cost of data during India’s telecom revolution. Sovereign compute and gigawatt-scale data centres A central pillar of the investment will be the creation of sovereign compute capacity through what Ambani described as “Jio Intelligence” — Reliance’s AI infrastructure and services platform.He identified compute cost—not talent—as the primary bottleneck in AI expansion globally. சத்தீஷ்கர் உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் பெண் ஒருவர் கொடுத்திருந்த பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை வழக்கில், 20 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு குற்றவாளிக்கு விசாரணை நீதிமன்றம் 7 ஆண்டு சிறை தண்டனை கொடுத்திருந்தது. இத்தண்டனையை எதிர்த்து குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்ட நபர் சத்தீஷ்கர் உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் மேல் முறையீடு செய்திருந்தார். 2005ம் ஆண்டு தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்ட இம்மனு மீதான விசாரணையில் தற்போதுதான் கோர்ட் தீர்ப்பு வழங்கி இருக்கிறது. பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண் 2004ம் ஆண்டு மே 21ம் தேதி வீட்டில் தனியாக இருந்தபோது உள்ளே அத்துமீறி நுழைந்த நபர் அப்பெண்ணின் உடைகளைக் கழற்றிவிட்டு பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை செய்ய முயன்றபோது அப்பெண் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்தார். இதையடுத்து அப்பெண்ணின் கை, கால்களைக் கட்டிவிட்டு வாயில் துணியை வைத்து அடைத்து தனி அறையில் அடைத்து பாலியல் வன்கொடுமையில் ஈடுபட்டதாக அப்பெண் விசாரணையில் குறிப்பிட்டு இருந்தார். சத்தீஷ்கர் உயர் நீதிமன்றம் இவ்வழக்கு உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் விசாரணைக்கு வந்தபோது அப்பெண்ணிடம் குறுக்கு விசாரணை நடத்தப்பட்டதில், குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்ட நபர் தனது அந்தரங்க உறுப்பை தன் பெண்ணுறுப்பிற்கு மேல் வைத்திருந்ததாகவும், ஊடுருவவில்லை என்றும் குறிப்பிட்டு இருந்தார். மற்றொரு சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் அப்பெண் கொடுத்திருந்த வாக்குமூலத்தில், குற்றவாளி தனது அந்தரங்க உறுப்பை எனது அந்தரங்க உறுப்பில் நுழைத்தார் என்று குறிப்பிட்டு இருந்தார். பெண்ணின் இந்த முரண்பட்ட வாக்குமூலத்தை நீதிபதி தனது கவனத்தில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார். இவ்வழக்கில் தீர்ப்பு வழங்கிய நீதிமன்றம், ''375வது சட்டப்பிரிவின் படி, ஊடுருவல் இல்லாமல் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்ணின் அந்தரங்க உறுப்பிற்கு மேல் குற்றவாளி தனது அந்தரங்க உறுப்பை வைத்திருந்தது மற்றும் ஊடுருவல் இல்லாமல் விந்தை வெளியேற்றியது பாலியல் வன்கொடுமையாகாது. அதனை பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை முயற்சி என்று சொல்லலாம். பாலியல் குற்றத்திற்கு ஊடுருவல்தான் முக்கியம். விந்து வெளியேற்றுவது முக்கியமில்லை. வழக்கறிஞரின் சாட்சியங்களைச் சரியான கண்ணோட்டத்தில் பரிசீலிக்கும்போது, உண்மையான கற்பழிப்பு நடக்கவில்லை என்பது தெளிவாகிறது.
