இலங்கையின் பிரதமரும், கல்வி அமைச்சருமான ஹரிணி அமரசூரியவுக்கு எதிராக எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் கொண்டு வரவுள்ள நம்பிக்கையில்லா பிரேரணையை எதிர்வரும் 22 மற்றும் 23 ஆம் திகதிகளில் விவாதிக்க அரசாங்கம் தயாராக உள்ளதாக அமைச்சர் வைத்தியர் நளிந்த ஜயதிஸ்ஸ தெரிவித்துள்ளார். விவாதத்துக்கு எதிர்க்கட்சி தயாராக இல்லை எனில், கல்வி சீர்திருத்தங்கள் தொடர்பிலான ஒத்திவைப்பு விவாதத்தை எதிர்வரும் வியாழன் மற்றும் வெள்ளிக்கிழமைகளில் நடத்தலாம் எனவும் அவர் சுட்டிக்காட்டியுள்ளார். எனினும், எதிர்க்கட்சித் தலைவர் சஜித் பிரேமதாச, “நம்பிக்கையில்லா பிரேரணை விவாதம் தொடர்பான தீர்மானத்தை அரசாங்கம் அல்ல, எதிர்க்கட்சியே எடுக்க வேண்டும். அரசாங்கம் கூறுவது போல் எதிர்க்கட்சி அதை விவாதிக்கத் தயாராக இல்லை.” என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்;. கல்வி நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்வதில் தரம் 06 கல்வி முறை தொடர்பாக எழுந்துள்ள பிரச்சினைகளை முன்வைத்து நம்பிக்கையில்லா பிரேரணையை கொண்டு வர எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் தீர்மானித்திருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கதாகும்.

தூத்துக்குடி, தெர்மல்நகர் காவல் நிலையத்தில் சிறப்பு உதவி ஆய்வாளராக பணிபுரிந்து வந்தவர் சுப்பையா. கடந்த 17.01.1986-ம் நாள், அப்போதைய ஒருங்கிணைந்த நெல்லை மாவட்டத்தில் இரண்டாம் நிலை காவலராக பணியில் சேர்ந்தார். பின்னர், நெல்லை மாவட்டத்தில் இருந்து தூத்துக்குடி தனி மாவட்டமாக பிரிந்த போது தூத்துக்குடியில் தனது பணியை தொடர்ந்தார். முதல் நிலை காவலர், தலைமை காவலராக பணிபுரிந்து வந்தவர், பதவி உயர்வில் தற்போது 40 ஆண்டு கால அனுபவத்துடன் சிறப்பு உதவி காவல் ஆய்வாளராக பணியில் இருந்து வந்தார். உயிரிழந்த எஸ்.எஸ்.ஐ சுப்பையா- ராஜூ வரும் 30.06.2026 அன்று பணியில் இருந்து ஓய்வு பெற இருந்த நிலையில், கடந்த 4 நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு இரு சக்கர வாகனத்தில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தபோது ஏற்பட்ட விபத்தில்  தலையில் பலத்த காயம் ஏற்பட்டது. பின்னர், நெல்லையில் உள்ள தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் உள்நோயாளியாக சிகிச்சை பெற்ற வந்த அவர், சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி இன்று (19.01.2026) உயிரிழந்தார். பின்னர், அவரின் உடல் பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்குப் பிறகு சிதம்பரநகர் மின் மயானத்தில் தகனம் செய்யப்பட்டது. அவரின் உடலுக்கு மாவட்ட காவல்துறை சார்பில் அரசு மரியாதை செய்யப்படவில்லை. இதற்கு வருத்தமும், கண்டனமும் தெரிவித்து  தமிழக முதல்வருக்கு தமிழக ஓய்வு பெற்ற காவல்துறையினர் நலச் சங்கம் சார்பில் மனு அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து தமிழக ஓய்வு பெற்ற காவல்துறையினர் நலச் சங்கத்தின் தூத்துக்குடி  மாவட்ட செயல் தலைவர் த.ராஜூவிடம் பேசினோம், “பணியில் இருந்தபோது உயிரிழக்கும் கீழ் நிலை முதல் உயர்நிலை வரையிலான அனைத்து காவல்துறையினரின் உடலுக்கு அரசு மரியாதை செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்ற வழக்கம் நடைமுறையில் இருந்து வருகிறது. உயிரிழந்த நண்பர் சுப்பையா 40 ஆண்டு காலம் பணி அனுபவம் உடையவர். சிறப்பு உதவி ஆய்வாளர் ரேங்கில் பணி செய்தவர். துப்பாக்கி குண்டுகள் முழங்க அரசு மரியாதை செலுத்தியிருக்க வேண்டும். சிலம்பரசன் - தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட எஸ்.பி ஆனால், மாவட்ட காவல்துறை நிர்வாகம் மரியாதை செலுத்த தவறியது வருத்தமளிக்கிறது. அவருடன் பணியாற்றிய சக காவலர்கள், நண்பர்கள் மாலை அணிவித்து மரியாதை செய்து சென்றது சற்று ஆறுதல் அளிக்கிறது. அவர் பணிபுரிந்த காவல் நிலையத்தின் உயரதிகாரி மாவட்ட எஸ்.பி., சிலம்பரசனின் கவனத்திற்கு ஏன் கொண்டு செல்லவில்லை என்ற கேள்வியும் எழுகிறது?  சாத்தான்குளம் காவல் நிலையத்தில் தந்தை, மகன் கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட வழக்கில் கைதாகி சிறை தண்டனையில் இருந்து உடல்நலக்குறைவால் உயிரிழந்த சிறப்பு உதவி ஆய்வாளர் பால்துரையின் உடலுக்குக்கூட மதுரையில் 21 குண்டு முழங்க அரசு மரியாதை செலுத்தப்பட்ட பிறகே அவரின் உடல் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டது. அவரின் மகன் பிரவானுக்கு அப்போதைய மாவட்ட எஸ்.பி., பாலஜி சரவணன் பணியில் இருந்தபோது எஸ்.பி., அலுவலகத்தில் கருணை அடிப்படையில் பணியும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தூத்துக்குடி மில்லர்புரத்தில் இயங்கி வரும் ஆயுதப்படை அலுவலகத்திற்கும் சிதம்பரநகர் மின் மயானத்திற்கும் சுமார் 500 மீட்டர் தூரம்தான் இருக்கும். மாவட்ட எஸ்.பி., அரசு மரியாதை செலுத்தாவிட்டாலும்கூட கீழ் நிலை அதிகாரிகளையாவது இறுதி நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொண்டு மரியாதை செய்ய பணித்திருக்கலாம். மாவட்ட காவல் அலுவலகம் முன்னாள் டி.ஜி.பி சைலேந்திரபாபு பணியில் இருந்தபோது காவல்துறையில் பணியில் இருந்தபோது, காவல்துறையில் ஓய்வுபெற்று உயிர்நீத்த காவல்துறையினரின் உடலுக்கு சம்மந்தப்பட்ட காவல்நிலைய எல்கைக்குட்பட்ட காவல் ஆய்வாளர் அல்லது உதவி ஆய்வாளர் யாராவது இறுதி நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என உத்தரவிட்டிருந்தார். அதை பெரும்பாலான காவல்துறை அதிகாரிகள் கடைபிடிப்பதில்லை. தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட காவல்துறை நிர்வாகம் உயிரிழந்த சிறப்பு உதவி ஆய்வாளருக்கு அரசு மரியாதை பணியை செய்யாமல் இருந்தது, மாவட்டத்தில் அனைத்து பணியில் இருக்கும் மற்றும் காவல்துறையில் ஓய்வு பெற்ற அனைத்து காவல்துறையினர் குடும்பங்கள் மன வேதனைக்கு உள்ளாகி உள்ளது.   இறந்த சிறப்பு உதவி ஆய்வாளருக்கு அரசு மரியாதை செலுத்தாத தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட காவல்துறை நிர்வாகத்தை வன்மையாக கண்டிக்கிறோம். இந்த செயலை கண்டித்து தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் வரும் சட்ட மன்ற தேர்தல் பணிக்கு அழைத்தால் ஓய்வு பெற்ற காவல் துறையினர் யாரும் செல்ல கூடாது என முடிவு எடுத்து எங்களுடைய உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான எதிர்ப்பை தெரிவிக்கிறோம்.” என்றார்.   மாவட்ட எஸ்.பி.,சிலம்பரசனை போனில் தொடர்பு கொண்டோம், “ஐயாவின் கன் மேன் பேசுகிறேன். சார் ஒரு மீட்டிங்கில் இருக்கிறார்” எனச் சொல்லி அழைப்பை துண்டித்தார். தூத்துக்குடி எஸ்.பி அலுவலகம் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் உமையொருபாகனை தொடர்பு கொண்டோம், “ஆயுதப்படையில் போலீஸார் வேறு பணிகளுக்கு சென்றதால் மரியாதை செலுத்த இயலவில்லை. அதுமட்டுமில்லாமல் அரசு மரியாதைக்கென பயிற்சி தனி டீம் உள்ளது. அவரின் குடும்பத்தினரிடம் பேசியிருக்கிறோம். வரும் 21-ம் தேதி எஸ்.பி சாரின் தலைமையில் சிறப்பு மரியாதை செலுத்த உள்ளோம்.” என்றார்.   உடலுக்கு அரசு மரியாதை செலுத்துவதற்கும், உருவப்படத்திற்கு அரசு மரியாதை செலுத்துவதற்கும் வித்தியாசம் உள்ளதுதானே?

Kochi: Jewellery major Kalyan Jewellers has appointed senior advertising and media industry leader Radhika Ramani as Additional Director (Non-Executive & Independent) to its Board, with effect from January 14, 2026. அவல் இட்லி தேவையானவை : அவல் - ஒரு கப் பச்சரிசி - ஒரு கப் இட்லி அரிசி - ஒரு கப் தயிர் - ஒரு கப் உளுத்தம்பருப்பு - கால் கப் வெந்தயம் - கால் டீஸ்பூன் உப்பு - தேவையான அளவு அவல் இட்லி செய்முறை : அவலை தயிருடன் சேர்த்து இரண்டு மணி நேரம் ஊறவைக்கவும். பச்சரிசி, இட்லி அரிசியை ஒன்றாக இரண்டு மணி நேரம் ஊறவைக்கவும். உளுத்தம்பருப்பு, வெந்தயம் இரண்டையும் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்த்து இரண்டு மணி நேரம் ஊறவைக்கவும். பின்பு ஊறவைத்துள்ள அவலையும் தயிரையும் ஒன்றாக அரைக்கவும். ஊறவைத்த அரிசியைத் தனியாக அரைக்கவும். ஊறவைத்த உளுத்தம்பருப்பு, வெந்தயத்தை ஒன்றாக அரைக்கவும். அரைத்த அனைத்தையும் ஒன்றின்பின் ஒன்றாக ஒரு பாத்திரத்தில் போட்டுக் கலக்காமல் அப்படியே வைக்கவும். இரவு முழுவதும் அப்படியே ஊறவிட்டு பின்பு காலையில் இதனுடன் உப்பு சேர்த்து நன்றாகக் கலந்து இட்லி ஊற்றுவதுபோல் ஊற்றவும். ஓர் இட்லியில் 85 கலோரிகள் உள்ளது. இதில் சராசரியாக 2 கிராம் புரதம், 2 கிராம் நார்ச்சத்து, 8 கிராம் கார்போஹைட்ரேட் அடங்கியுள்ளது.

பனீர் இட்லி தேவையானவை : பனீர் - 150 கிராம் கடலை மாவு - அரை கப் ரவை - அரை கப் தயிர் - ஒரு கப் பொடியாக நறுக்கிய சின்ன வெங்காயம் - 10 பொடியாக நறுக்கிய பச்சை மிளகாய் - 2 பொடியாக நறுக்கிய கொத்தமல்லி - சிறிதளவு உப்பு, எண்ணெய் - தேவையான அளவு பச்சைப்பட்டாணி – 10 அல்லது 15 (எண்ணிக்கையில்) கடுகு உளுத்தம்பருப்பு, பெருங்காயம், கறிவேப்பிலை - சிறிதளவு செய்முறை : கடலை மாவு, ரவை இரண்டையும் தயிர், உப்பு சேர்த்து 15 முதல் 20 நிமிடங்கள் வரை ஊறவைக்கவும். பின்பு இதனுடன் பனீரை துருவி சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளவும். பொடியாக நறுக்கிய பச்சை மிளகாய், சின்ன வெங்காயம், கொத்தமல்லி மற்றும் பச்சைப்பட்டாணி சேர்த்து கலந்து கொள்ளவும். கடாயில் எண்ணெய்விட்டு காய்ந்ததும் கடுகு, உளுத்தம்பருப்பு, பெருங்காயம், கறிவேப்பிலை சேர்த்துத் தாளிக்கவும். இதைத் தயாரித்துவைத்துள்ள மாவில் போட்டு நன்றாகக் கலக்கவும். இட்லித் தட்டில் எண்ணெய் அல்லது நெய் தடவி மாவை இட்லிகளாக ஊற்றி 10 முதல் 15 நிமிடங்கள் வரை வேகவைத்து எடுத்தால் சுவையான பனீர் இட்லி தயார். குறிப்பு : விருப்பப்பட்டால் பச்சைப்பட்டாணியைத் தவிர மற்ற காய்கறிகளையும் சேர்த்துக் கொள்ளலாம். தினம் இரு வேளை இட்லி சாப்பிடுபவர்கள், அதில் ஒரு வேளைக்கு அரிசிக்குப் பதில், சிறுதானியங்களை உளுந்துடன் சேர்த்து அரைத்து ஊட்டச்சத்து இட்லியாக்கலாம்.

காஞ்சிபுரம் இட்லி தேவையானவை : பச்சரிசி - ஒரு டம்ளர் உளுத்தம்பருப்பு – கால் டம்ளர் வெந்தயம் - சிறிதளவு மிளகு - கால் டீஸ்பூன் சீரகம் - கால் டீஸ்பூன் சுக்குப்பொடி - சிறிதளவு அல்லது பொடியாக நறுக்கிய ஒரு இஞ்சித்துண்டு பெருங்காயம், கறிவேப்பிலை - சிறிதளவு முந்திரி உடைத்தது - 3 டீஸ்பூன் நல்லெண்ணெய், உப்பு - தேவையான அளவு காஞ்சிபுரம் இட்லி செய்முறை : பச்சரிசியைத் தனியாகவும், வெந்தயம், உளுத்தம்பருப்பைத் தனியாகவும் இரண்டு மணி நேரம் ஊறவைக்கவும். பின்பு ஊறவைத்த உளுத்தம்பருப்பை நன்றாக அரைத்துக்கொள்ளவும். ஊறவைத்த பச்சரிசியை நான்கு மணி நேரம் கழித்து கொரகொரப்பாக அரைத்துக்கொள்ளவும். வாணலியில் எண்ணெய்விட்டு சூடாக்கி மிளகு, சீரகம், பொடியாக நறுக்கிய இஞ்சி அல்லது சுக்குப்பொடி, பெருங்காயம், கறிவேப்பிலை சேர்த்துத் தாளிக்கவும். இதை அரைத்துவைத்திருக்கும் மாவில் கலக்கவும் நீளமான டம்ளரின் உள்ளே எண்ணெய் அல்லது நெய் தடவிய வாழையிலையைச் சுற்றி வைக்கவும். பின்பு அரைத்துவைத்துள்ள மாவை அதில் ஊற்றவும். பின்பு முந்திரி பருப்பை அதன்மேல் தூவி விடவும். இட்லி பானை அல்லது குக்கரில் டம்ளரை வைத்து 15 நிமிடங்கள் வேகவைத்து பின்பு எடுக்கவும். காஞ்சிபுரம் இட்லி தயார். இந்தோனேசியாவில் இட்லியை `கெட்லி’ (Kedli) என்கிறார்கள். அதுதான், `இட்லி’ என மருவியது என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
