பஞ்சாப் மாநிலத்தில் அடிக்கடி துப்பாக்கிச்சூடு நடைபெறுகிறது. சமீபத்தில்கூட ஆம் ஆத்மி கட்சி பிரமுகரை மர்ம நபர்கள் சுட்டுக் கொலைசெய்தனர். தற்போது கல்லூரி வகுப்பறையில் மாணவர் ஒருவர் சக மாணவியை சுட்டுக் கொலைசெய்துள்ளார். அங்குள்ள தர்ன் தரன் என்ற இடத்தில் உள்ள கல்லூரியில் முதலாம் ஆண்டு படித்து வருபவர் பிரின்ஸ் ராஜ். இதே கல்லூரியில் படித்து வந்தவர் சந்தீப் கவுர். இரண்டு பேரும் ஒரே வகுப்பில்தான் படித்து வந்தனர். இன்று ராஜ் தான் படிக்கும் வகுப்பிற்குள் நுழைந்தபோது கவுர் எதோ சொல்லி இருக்கிறார். அந்நேரம் ராஜ் அதற்கு எதிராக எதையும் சொல்லவில்லை. ஆனால் சிறிது நேரத்தில் கவுர் வகுப்பறையை விட்டு வெளியில் சென்றார். அவரை பின் தொடர்ந்து ராஜ் சென்றார். உடனே மற்றொரு மாணவரும் அவர்களை பின் தொடர்ந்து சென்று சமாதானப்படுத்த முயன்றார். அதோடு அவர் ராஜ் மற்றும் கவுரை மீண்டும் வகுப்பறைக்குள் அழைத்து வந்தார். கவுர் பின்னால் இருந்த இருக்கைக்கு சென்றார். ஆனால் ராஜ் முன் இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்தார். அந்நேரம் கவுர் தனது இருக்கையில் எழுந்து நின்றார். உடனே தனது இருக்கையில் இருந்து எழுந்த ராஜ், தனது பேக்கில் இருந்த துப்பாக்கியை எடுத்து கவுரை நோக்கி சுட்டார். அதோடு கவுர் கீழே விழுந்தவுடன் சில அடிகள் பின்னால் வந்து தனது தலையிலும் ராஜ் துப்பாக்கியால் சுட்டுக் கொண்டார். இதனை நேரில் பார்த்த சகமாணவர்கள் வகுப்பறையை விட்டு அலறியடித்து வெளியில் ஓடினர். இருவரையும் போலீஸார் மருத்துவமனைக்கு கொண்டு சென்றனர். ஆனால் அங்கு டாக்டர்கள் சோதித்து பார்த்தபோது கவுர் இறந்திருந்தார். ராஜ்க்கு தீவிர சிகிச்சையளிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. என்ன காரணத்திற்காக துப்பாக்கியால் சுட்டார் என்று தெரியவில்லை. இந்தச் சம்பவம் அங்கு பெரும் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது.

``அ.தி.மு.க தலைமையில் அணி அமைத்தாலும், தமிழகத்தில் தேசிய ஜனநாய கூட்டணியின் ஆட்சியே நடக்கும்.” என்று பாஜக நிர்வாகிகள் கூட்டத்தில் பேசியிருக்கிறார் பா.ஜ.க-வின் தேசிய ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் பி.எல்.சந்தோஷ். தமிழகத்தில் சட்டமன்ற தேர்தல் விரைவில் நடைபெற உள்ள நிலையில் அனைத்து அரசியல் கட்சிகளும் தேர்தல் வேலைகளில் வேகம் எடுத்துள்ளது. அ.தி.மு.க கூட்டணியில் உள்ள பா.ஜ.க, தொகுதி பொறுப்பாளர்களை நியமித்து தேர்தல் வேலையை தீவிரமாக மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில் தமிழக தேர்தலில் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டிய பணிகள் குறித்து ஆய்வு செய்யவும், நிர்வாகிகளுடன் கலந்துரையாடவும் பி.எல்.சந்தோஷ் சென்னை வருகை தந்துள்ளார். இன்று கமலாலயத்தில் மாநில நிர்வாகிகள் மற்றும் தொகுதி பொறுப்பாளர்களுடன் நேரடியாக ஆலோசனையில் ஈடுபட்டார். இந்த ஆலோசனையில் நிர்வாகிகளிடமும் கள நிலவரங்கள் குறித்து பி.எல். சந்தோஷ் கேட்டறிந்துள்ளார். பா.ஜ.க இந்த கூட்டத்தில் கலந்து கொண்ட நிர்வாகிகள் நம்மிடம் பேசியபோது, “நிர்வாக ரீதியாக தேர்தல் களத்தில் பணியாற்ற வேண்டிய விஷயங்கள் குறித்து ஆலோசிக்கப்பட்டது. கூட்டத்தில் அண்ணாமலை பதவி விலகியது குறித்து ஒரு சிலர் கருத்து கூற முற்பட்டார்கள். அவர்களிடம் அண்ணாமலை விவகாரத்தை நாங்கள் பார்த்துக் கொள்கிறோம். அவரை எப்படி பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்பது எங்களுக்கு தெரியும் என்று ஆஃப் செய்துவிட்டார். அதன்பிறகு அவர் பேசும்போது, `இந்த முறை தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணியே ஆட்சியை பிடிக்கும். அதில் எந்த மாற்றமும் இல்லை. தமிழகத்திலும் தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணி தான். அ.தி.மு.க தலைமையிலான அணியாக அதை பார்க்க வேண்டாம். இந்த முறை நாம் ஆட்சியில் பங்கு பெறும் வாய்ப்பு கூட கிடைக்கலாம். துணை முதல்வர் பதவி கூட இந்த தேர்தல் முடிவுக்கு பிறகு கிடைக்க வாய்ப்புள்ளது. அதற்கு தகுதியான அளவில் சீட் சேரிங் நடக்கும். குறிப்பாக பா.ஜ.க விற்கு நாற்பது இடங்களை உறுதியாக கேட்டுபெறுவோம். நம்முடன் இன்னும் கூட்டணிக்கு சில கட்சிகள் வர உள்ளது. அவர்களும் தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணியின் ஒரு அங்கமாக தேர்தலை சந்திப்பார்கள்' என்றார். தமிழக தேர்தல் தேதி குறித்த பேச்சும் அப்போது எழுந்தது. பி.எல்.சந்தோஷ் கூற்றுப்படி பார்த்தால் தமிழகத்தில் ஏப்ரல் 10-ம் தேதிக்கு முன்பாக தேர்தல் முடிந்து விடும் என தெரிகிறது. குறிப்பாக தமிழகத்தில் ஒரே கட்டமாக தேர்தல் நடத்தப்படும் என்பதால் முதற்கட்ட தேர்தலிலேயே தமிழகத்தில் தேர்தலை நடத்த தேர்தல் ஆணையம் திட்டமிட்டு வருவதாகவும் தெரிகிறது” என்றார்கள். பி.எல்.சந்தோஷ் கூறியபடி இருபது சதவிகித இடங்களில் பா.ஜ.க போட்டியிடும் என்றால் குறைந்தபட்சம் நாற்பது தொகுதிகளில் பா.ஜ.க களம் இறங்க வேண்டும். அந்த எண்ணிக்கையை அ.தி.மு.க ஒப்புக்கொள்ளுமா? என்கிற கேள்வியும் உள்ளது. பிரதமர் மோடி ஏற்கனவே பிரதமர் தலைமையில் நடந்த மதுராந்தகம் தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணியின் கூட்டத்தில் தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணியே தமிழகத்தில் ஆட்சியை பிடிக்கும் என பிரதமர் பேசியிருந்தார். அப்போதே அ.தி.மு.கவினர் எடப்பாடியை முதல்வராக முன்மொழியாமல் தே.ஜ.கூட்டணியின் முதல்வர் என்றே பிரதமர் சொல்கிறார் என்று புலம்பினார்கள். இப்போது அதே பாணியில் பி.எல்.சந்தோஷ் தனது நிர்வாகிகளிடம் பேசியிருப்பது அ.தி.மு.க விற்கு அதிர்ச்சியை கொடுத்துள்ளது.
