ஆ.ராசா தலைமையிலான SIR கூட்டம்; புறக்கணித்த சேகர்பாபு; புகைச்சலில் அறிவாலயம்

2026 சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல் தொடர்பான ஆலோசனையின்போது தி.மு.க எம்.பி. ஆ.ராசாவுக்கும் அமைச்சர் சேகர்பாபுவுக்கும் வாக்குவாதம் ஏற்பட்டதாகச் சொல்லப்பட்ட நிலையில், ஆ.ராசா தலைமையிலான SIR கூட்டத்தை அமைச்சர் சேகர்பாபு புறக்கணித்திருப்பது அறிவாலயத்தில் புகைச்சலை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. முதலமைச்சர் மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் தலைமையில் 09.11.2025 அன்று நடைபெற்ற காணொலி காட்சி கூட்டத்தில் வழங்கப்பட்ட அறிவுறுத்தல்களின்படி, SIR தொடர்பான பணிகளை முழுமையாக முடிப்பது குறித்து சென்னை மண்டல மாவட்டங்களுக்கு ஆலோசனைக் கூட்டம், சென்னை மண்டலத் தேர்தல் பொறுப்பாளரும் கழகத் துணைப் பொதுச்செயலாளருமான ஆ.ராசா தலைமையில் 13.11.2025 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. தியாகராய நகரிலுள்ள ஓட்டல் அக்கார்டில் நடைபெற்ற இக்கூட்டத்தில் தலைநகரிலுள்ள அனைத்து மாவட்டச் செயலாளர்களும், அமைச்சர்களும் பங்கேற்பார்கள் எனச் சொல்லப்பட்டது. எஸ்.ஐ.ஆர் ஆலோசனை கூட்டம் அதன்படி அமைச்சர்கள் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன், தா.மோ.அன்பரசன், மா.செ-க்கள் மயிலை வேலு, மாதவரம் சுதர்சனம், ஆர்.டி. சேகர், சிற்றரசு உள்ளிட்டோர் பங்கேற்றனர். ஆனால் சென்னை கிழக்கு மாவட்டச் செயலாளரும் அமைச்சருமான சேகர்பாபு வருவதாகச் சொல்லிவிட்டு நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு வராமல் புறக்கணித்துவிட்டதாகத் தெரிகிறது. இதுகுறித்து நம்மிடம் பேசிய தி.மு.க புள்ளிகள் சிலர், “வாக்குரிமையைப் பறிக்கும் ஒன்றிய பாஜக அரசின் சூழ்ச்சிக்கு எதிராக திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் சட்டரீதியாகவும், மக்கள் மன்றத்திலும் போராடிவருகிறது. இச்சூழலில் களத்தில் எப்படி கையாள்வது என்பது குறித்து மண்டல பொறுப்பாளர்கள் தலைமையில் மா.செ-க்கள் பங்கேற்கும் சிறப்புக் கூட்டத்தைக் நடத்த முதல்வர் ஆணையிட்டிருந்தார். ஆனால் கூட்டம் ஆ.ராசா தலைமையில் நடப்பதாலேயே அமைச்சர் சேகர்பாபு அதில் பங்கேற்கவில்லை. கூட்டம் தொடங்கும் வரை ‘பி.கே.எஸ்’ வந்துவிடுவார் எனக் கூட்ட அரங்கில் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தனர்; ஆனால் அவர் வரவேயில்லை” என்றனர். சேகர்பாபு அமைச்சர் சேகர்பாபுவுக்கும் ஆ.ராசாவுக்கும் என்ன பிரச்னை என விசாரித்தபோது, நம்மிடம் பேசியவர்கள், “தலைநகர் தொகுதியிலுள்ள தனித்தொகுதிகளை யாருக்கு தர வேண்டும் என ஆலோசனையின்போது ஆ.ராசாவுக்கும் சேகர்பாபுவுக்கும் கருத்து முரண்பாடு ஏற்பட்டது. சீனியரான ஆ.ராசாவைப் அமைச்சர் அவமரியாதையாகப் பேசியதாகவே முணுமுணுக்கப்பட்டது. பின்னர் இருவரும் நேரில் சந்தித்து பரஸ்பரம் பேசிக்கொண்டதாகவும் சொல்லப்பட்டது. ஆனால் ஆ.ராசா தலைமையில் நடந்த, SIR குறித்தான மிக முக்கியமான கூட்த்தில் சேகர்பாபு பங்கேற்கவில்லை. அந்த கூட்டத்தில் நடந்தவற்றை அடிமட்ட நிர்வாகிகளுக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்ல வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் திட்டம். சேகர்பாபு பங்கேற்காததால் கிழக்கு மாவட்ட தி.மு.க நிர்வாகிகளுக்கு செயல்திட்டங்கள் எப்படி சென்றடையும்? தேர்தல் நெருங்கும் சூழலில் மாவட்டச் செயலாளரும் மண்டல பொறுப்பாளருமான இருவரும் ஈகோ யுத்தத்தில் இறங்கியிருப்பது அறிவாலயத்தில் புகைச்சலை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இந்த ஈகோ யுத்தத்தை முதல்வர்தான் முடித்துவைக்க வேண்டும்” என்றனர். “யார் பேசுறதையும் கேட்க மாட்டேன், நான் வைப்பதுதான் சட்டம்...!”

பரமக்குடி: காரில் வந்து ஆடு திருட்டு; ஓட்டம் பிடித்த தம்பதியை விரட்டி பிடித்த போலீஸார்!

பரமக்குடி எமனேஸ்வரம் ஈஸ்வரன் கோயில் மேலத்தெருவை சேர்ந்தவர் சரசு. இவர் நேற்று முன் தினம் காலை அப்பகுதியை சேர்ந்த சிலருடன் அம்மன் கோயில் மற்றும் மாமாங்க தெப்பகுளம் பகுதியில் ஆடுகளை மேய்ச்சலுக்கு விட்டிருந்தார். அன்று மதியம் ஆடுகளை எண்ணிய போது மேய்ச்சலுக்கு விட்டிருந்த 5 ஆட்டு குட்டிகள் குறைவாக இருந்தது தெரியவந்தது. இதையடுத்து எமனேஸ்வரம் காவல் நிலையத்தில் ஆடுகள் காணாமல் போனது குறித்து சரசு புகார் அளித்தார். புகாரை பெற்ற போலீஸார் ஆடு திருட்டு குறித்து விசாரணையில் இறங்கினர். இந்த விசாரணையின் போது, ஆடுகளுடன் ஒரு கார் மானாமதுரை நோக்கி செல்வதாக போலீஸாருக்கு தெரியவந்தது. ஆடு திருட பயன்படுத்திய கார் ஆடு திருடிய காளீஸ்வரன் - முத்துமாரி இது குறித்து மானாமதுரை போலீஸாருக்கு எமனேஸ்வரம் போலீஸார் தகவல் கொடுத்தனர். உடனடியாக மானாமதுரை போலீஸார் வாகன சோதனையில் ஈடுபட்டனர். அப்போது தேவர் சிலை அருகே வந்த கார் ஒன்றில் இருந்து இறங்கிய இருவர் காரை அங்கேயே நிறுத்திவிட்டு ஓட்டம் பிடித்துள்ளனர். இதனை கண்ட போலீஸார் அவர்களை விரட்டி பிடித்தனர். அவர்களிடம் நடத்திய விசாரணையில் மதுரை ஆண்டார் கொட்டாரம் ஊராட்சி அய்யனார் நகரை சேர்ந்த காளீஸ்வரன் மற்றும் அவரது மனைவி முத்துமாரி என்றும், காரில் வந்து ஆடுகளை திருடி சென்றதும் தெரியவந்தது. இதனை தொடர்ந்து திருட்டு போன ஆடுகளை மீட்ட போலீஸார், ஆடு திருட பயன்படுத்திய கார் மற்றும் காளீஸ்வரன் தம்பதியிரை எமனேஸ்வரம் போலீஸாரிடம் ஒப்படைத்தனர். ஆடு திருட்டில் ஈடுபட்ட இந்த தம்பதியினர் மீது ஏற்கனவே சில ஆடு திருட்டு வழக்குகள் உள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. கணவனும் மனைவியும் சேர்ந்து காரில் வந்து ஆடு திருடிய சம்பவம் பரமக்குடி பகுதியில் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது.

(பத்திரமா எடுத்து வையுங்க.. கற்கண்டுன்னு நெனச்சு அதையும் எடுத்து தர்பீஸ் சாப்ட்றப் போறாரு..  - வினோத் கமெண்ட்!). தீர்ப்பு சொல்வதில் பல்டியடித்த கண்ணழகி பாரு டாஸ்க் ஆரம்பம். ‘ராணியைப் புகழ்ந்து அரசவை நிகழ்வை ஆரம்பிப்போம்’ என்றார் ராஜமாதா. எதிர் டீமைப் பார்த்து இடி முழங்கிய குரலில் சிரித்தார் திவாகர். ‘வயிறு வலிக்க சிரிப்பவர்கள் மனித ஜாதி, பிறர் வயிறு எரிய சிரிப்பவர்கள் மிருக ஜாதி’ என்று பாட்டால் கவுண்ட்டர் கொடுத்தார் வினோத்.  “எங்களது மன்னரின் சிரிப்பே ஒரு வைரக்கல். ஆனால் நீங்கள் அமைச்சராக வைத்திருப்பது ஒரு பாறாங்கல்” என்று வினோத்தின் கிண்டல்கள் தொடர்ந்தன.  அரோரா vs திவாகர் வழக்கு விசாரணை தொடர்ந்தது. நேற்று கொடுத்த தீர்ப்பை அப்படியே மாற்றி ‘இருவருமே சிறைக்குச் செல்ல வேண்டும்’ என்று அநியாயமான தீர்ப்பை வழங்கினார் அரசி பாரு. வினோத்தை நோக்கி திவாகர் தவறாகப் பேசியதைத்தான் அரேரா ஆட்சேபித்தார். அதற்காக அரோராவையும் ‘ஏய்.. ‘ என்று ஆரம்பித்து மோசமாக பேசினார் திவாகர்.  BB TAMIL 9:DAY 39 ஆக.. இந்த விஷயத்தில் ஒட்டுமொத்த தவறும் திவாகர் மீது இருக்க, இருவருக்கும் தண்டனை என்று பாரு அறிவிப்பது அநியாயமான தீர்ப்பு. திவாகரைப் பகைத்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடாது என்கிற சேஃப் கேம் மாதிரி தெரிகிறது. “என் மீது வைத்தால் புரட்சி வெடிக்கும்” என்று சிணுங்கினார் அரோரா (அத்தனை லட்சம் சப்ஸ்கிரைபர்ஸ் இருக்கிறார்களோ?!)  பாரு ஆட்சியில் பெண்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பில்லை இதற்கிடையில் சாண்ட்ராவைக் கட்டிப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு திவாகர் தடுக்க முயல, அவர் அய்யோவென்று அலற, பிரஜின் அலறியடித்துக் கொண்டு ஓடி வந்து சாண்ட்ராவை மீட்டார். ‘இந்த நாட்டில் பெண்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பில்லை’ என்று எதிரியின் நாட்டில் தஞ்சம் புகுந்தார் அரோரா. ‘ராமர் இருக்கும் இடமே, சீதைக்கு அயோத்தி’ என்கிற பாலிசியில் சாண்ட்ராவும் எதிர் டீமிற்கு ஷிஃப்ட் ஆனார்.  ‘எதிர் நாட்டிற்கு தளபதி சாண்ட்ரா சென்று விடுவாரோ என்றுதான் அவரைப் பிடித்தேன்’ என்று திவாகர் காரணம் சொல்ல. அவருக்குக் கொடுமையான தண்டனையை வழங்கினார் அரசி பாரு. ஆம், அமைச்சரின் வாயில் டேப் போட்டு ஒட்டப்பட்டது. (இது திவாகருக்குத் தண்டனையாக இருக்கலாம். பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு ஒரு நல்ல வெகுமதி!).  “அவருக்குத் தெரிந்தது பேசறது மட்டும்தான். அதையும் மூடி விட்டீர்களா.. கிருஷ்ணன் வெண்ணைய்யைத் தின்றது போல், இந்த அமைச்சர் தாரை ஊற்றி குடித்து விட்டது போல் இருக்கிறது” என்று கறுப்பு நிற டேப்பை கிண்டலடித்தார் வினோத்.  BB TAMIL 9:DAY 39 மாறி மாறி உருவக்கேலி செய்யும் திவாகர் - வினோத் ‘எங்களது நாடகத்தை ஆரம்பிக்கும் முன் விநாயகரை வணங்கி விட்டு வருகிறேன்’ என்று திவாகரை ஓடிச் சென்று வணங்கினார் வினோத். இவர் செய்யும் கிண்டல்கள் சமயங்களில் ரசிக்க வைத்தாலும் சில சமயங்களில் உருவக்கேலியாக அமைந்து விடுவது கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது. என்றாலும் திவாகர் சும்மா இருப்பாரா? பதிலுக்கு ‘கா.. கா’ என்று கத்தி வினோத்தின் நிறத்தைக் கிண்டலடித்தார்.  கண்டுகொண்டேன் 2 படத்தின் கிளைமாக்ஸ் காட்சியை பிரஜினும் திவ்யாவும் நடித்துக் காட்டினார்கள். பிரஜின் உணர்ச்சிகரமாகப் பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்குச் சிரிப்பு தாங்க முடியாமல் தவித்தார் திவ்யா.  அடுத்த டாஸ்க்கை ஆரம்பித்தார் பிக் பாஸ். பிளாக்ஸ் கொண்டு கோட்டையைக் கட்டும் போட்டி. ஒரு அணி கட்டும் போது எதிர் அணி பந்துகளை அடிப்பதின் மூலம் அவற்றைக் கலைக்க வேண்டும். வழக்கம் போல் கச்சா முச்சாவென்று நடந்து முடிந்தது. ஒரு கட்டத்தில், தன் சொந்த அணிக்குப் பாதகமாக இருந்தாலும் நோ்மையான பதிலை சபரி சொல்ல, “அப்படியெல்லாம் சொல்லாத என்று கத்தினார் திவாகர்.  ‘ரீகேம் வேண்டும்’ என்று நடுவர்களில் ஒருவரான பாரு சொல்ல, ‘தேவையில்லை’ என்றார் இன்னொரு நடுவர் விக்ரம். இடையில் புகுந்த பிக் பாஸ் ‘மீண்டும் ஆட்டம்…..’ என்று இடைவெளி விட துள்ளிக் குதிப்பதற்குத் தயாராக இருந்தார் பாரு. “கிடையாது’ என்று பிக் பாஸ் வாக்கியத்தை முடிக்க, சாக்லேட் பிடுங்கப்பட்ட குழந்தை மாதிரி சோர்ந்து போனார் பாரு, (அப்படி என்ன அவசரம்?!) கோட்டை கட்டும் டாஸ்க்கில், தர்பீஸ் அணி கோட்டை விட்டதால் கானா அணி வெற்றி பெற்றது. என்றாலும் முந்தைய இரண்டு போட்டிகளிலும் தர்பீஸ் ராஜ்ஜியமே வெற்றி என்பதால் இந்த டாஸ்க்கில் அவர்களே வெற்றி. இவர்களில் ஒருவர் வீட்டு தல டாஸ்க்கில் பங்கு பெறலாம்.  BB TAMIL 9:DAY 39 ‘அவன் பொருளை எடுத்து அவனையே போடணும்’ - பிக் பாஸ் டெக்னிக் பரிசு கிடைக்கப் போகிறது என்றதும் எதிர் அணிக்குத் தாவிச் சென்றவர்கள் எல்லாம் திரும்பினார்கள். “அதையெல்லாம் ஒத்துக்க முடியாது” என்றார் பாரு. “டாஸ்க் நடந்தப்ப நாங்க கேரக்டர் பிளே பண்ணோம்.. இருந்தாலும் உங்க டீம்தானே?” என்று லாஜிக் பேசினார் எஃப்ஜே. (சைலண்ட்டா ஸ்கோர் பண்ணுதுப்பா இந்தப் பொண்ணு!). இது பிக் பாஸின் வழக்கமான டெக்னிக்தான். ‘அவன் பொருளை எடுத்து அவனையே போடணும்’. காரணம் சொல்லாமல் அடுத்த டாஸ்க்கை ஆரம்பித்தார் பிக் பாஸ். ‘இந்த வீட்டில் பெரியமனுஷத்தனமாக நடந்து கொள்ளும், முடிவுகளைச் சரியாக எடுக்கும் பொறுப்புள்ள மூன்று நபர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வேண்டும். சொந்த செலவில் சூனியம் வைத்துக் கொள்வது போல, எதற்கென்றே தெரியாமல் மக்கள் வாக்களித்தார்கள். இதில் மெஜாரிட்டியாக விக்ரம், கனி, அமித் ஆகிய மூவரும் தேர்வானார்கள்.  இப்போது மூட்டையை அவிழ்த்தார் பிக் பாஸ். ரேங்கிங் டாஸ்க்கில் இந்த மூவரும் நடுவராக இருந்து ஆட்களைத் தேர்வு செய்வார்கள். மிகவும் முதிர்ச்சியாக நடந்து கொள்ளும் போட்டியாளர் எண்.1-ல் இருப்பார். மிகவும் சிறுபிள்ளைத்தனமாக நடந்து கொள்பவர் கடைசி எண். 14-ல் இருப்பார். இந்த ஆர்டரில் செலக்ஷன் நடைபெற வேண்டும்.  அதன்படி நடுவர் குழு தோ்வு செய்தது. சபரி (1), சுபிக்ஷா (2), கெமி (3), சாண்ட்ரா (4), பிரஜின் (5), வியானா (6), அரோரா (7), ரம்யா (8), திவ்யா (9), கம்ருதீன் (10), வினோத் (11), எஃப்ஜே (12), பாரு (13), திவாகர் (14).  BB TAMIL 9:DAY 39 ரணகளமாக நடந்து முடிந்த ரேங்கிங் டாஸ்க் நிதானமாகவும் பொறுமையாகவும் முதிர்ச்சியாகவும் நடந்து கொள்பவர்கள் டாப் ஆர்டரில் இருப்பார்கள். தேவையில்லாமல் கத்துதல். மற்றவர்களை மோசமாகக் கிண்டலடித்தல், ஒரு பிரச்னையைப் பெரிதாக்குதல் போன்ற விஷயங்களைச் செய்பவர்கள் கடைசி ஆர்டரில் இருப்பார்கள். இதுதான் எங்களுக்குத் தரப்பட்ட வழிகாட்டு விதிகள் என்று நடுவர்கள் விளக்கினார்கள். ரேங்கிங் டாஸ்க் என்றால் தகராறு இல்லாமல் இருக்குமா? “என்னால இதை ஏத்துக்கவே முடியாது” என்று கலகத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார் பாரு. “இவர்களுக்கு நடுவர்களாக இருக்க தகுதியே இல்லை” என்று கத்தினார் திவ்யா. எஃப்ஜேவும் கூடவே கத்தினார். “கனியக்கா என்னைப் பத்தி நிறைய புறணி பேசியிருக்காங்க” என்று மூச்சு விடாமல் தம் கட்டினார் திவாகர்.  முதல் மூன்று இடத்தைப் பெற்றவர்களுக்குத் தகுதியே இல்லை என்று கூச்சல்கள் எழுந்தன. “எனக்கு மூணாவது இடம் வேண்டும்” என்று வாக்குவாதம் செய்தார் வியானா. “எங்களால நடிச்சு சேஃப் கேம் ஆட முடியாது. நேச்சுரலா இருப்போம்” என்று கம்ருவும் வினோத்தும் கூட்டாகச் சொன்னார்கள்.  கூச்சல் குழப்பத்திற்குப் பிறகு, இதுதான் உங்கள் இறுதி முடிவா?” என்று நடுவர்களைக் கேட்டார் பிக் பாஸ். அவர்கள் உறுதியாக ‘ஆம்’ என்றதும், கடைசி மூன்று இடங்களைப் பிடித்தவர்களுக்குச் சிறைத்தண்டனை என்று பிக் பாஸ் அறிவித்ததும், “அய்யோ.. பிக் பாஸ்.. என்ன இப்படிப் பண்றீங்க?” என்று சோகமாகச் சிணுங்கினார் பாரு.  BB TAMIL 9:DAY 39 “சபரில்லாம் பொறுமையானவரா.. நல்ல கதையா இருக்கே.. டாஸ்க்ல பாருவை வேணுமின்னே அடிச்சு பழிவாங்கினாரு” என்று ஆவேசப்பட்டார் பிரஜின். “இந்த வாரத்துல அதிகமா அடி வாங்கியது நானு.. கப்பு எனக்குத்தான் சேரணும்” என்று வீர ஆவேசத்துடன் முழங்கினார் பாரு. தங்களுக்குத் தரப்பட்ட வழிமுறைகளைச் சொல்லி சமாதானப்படுத்த முடியாமல் நொந்து நூடுல்ஸ் ஆனார்கள் நடுவர்கள்.  சிறைக்குச் சென்றும் ரீல்ஸ் போட்டு தமிழக மக்களை இம்சை செய்த திவாகர் “எனக்கு மட்டும் சோதனை மேல் சோதனை நடக்குதே” என்று அனத்தினார் பாரு. சிறைக்குச் செல்ல வேண்டிய தண்டனை குறித்த புலம்பல். “ஜெயில்ல இருக்கறதுதான் ஜாலி. உள்ளே இவங்களோட இருக்க முடியாது” என்று முன்பு சொன்னவரும் இவரேதான். 2010 பீகார் சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல் ஐக்கிய ஜனதா தளத்துக்கு முக்கியமான தேர்தல். பா.ஜ.க-வுடன் (102 இடங்களில் போட்டி) கூட்டணியமைத்துப் போட்டியிட்டிருந்தாலும் தனியாக தான் போட்டியிட்ட 141 இடங்களில் 115 இடங்களை வென்றது ஜே.டி.யு. பா.ஜ.க-வின் 91 இடங்களையும் சேர்த்து தேசிய ஜனநாயகக் கூட்டணி அரசை அமைத்து மூன்றாவது முறையாக முதல்வரானார் நிதிஷ். அத்தேர்தலில் ஆர்.ஜே.டி 22 இடங்களிலும், தனித்துக் களம் கண்ட காங்கிரஸ் ஒற்றை இலக்கத்தில் வெறும் 4 இடங்களையும் மட்டுமே வென்றன. நிதிஷ் குமாருடன் மோடி நிதிஷுக்கு எல்லாம் சரியாகச் சென்றுகொண்டிருந்த நேரத்தில்தான் 2014 லோக் சபா தேர்தலுக்கு மோடியை பிரதமர் வேட்பாளராக்கும் வேலைகள் நடக்கவே, பா.ஜ.க-வுடனான 17 வருட உறவை முறித்தார் நிதிஷ். 2014 லோக் சபா தேர்தலில் பீகாரில் தனி கூட்டணியமைத்து போட்டியிட்ட ஜே.டி.யு வெறும் 2 இடங்களை மட்டுமே வென்று படுதோல்வியைச் சந்தித்தது. மறுபக்கம், பீகாரில் பா.ஜ.க கூட்டணி 31 இடங்களை வென்றதோடு மத்தியிலும் ஆட்சியமைத்தது. ஜே.டி.யு-வின் இத்தகைய தோல்விக்குப் பொறுப்பேற்று நிதிஷ் தனது முதல்வர் பதவியை ராஜினாமா செய்தார். 2015 வரை அக்கட்சியிலிருந்து ஜிதன் ராம் மஞ்சி முதல்வராகப் பொறுப்பேற்றார். மாறாத முதல்வர்! The company argued that Kedia’s proprietor, Prahalad Rai Kedia, had secured copyright for the Everest label by withholding material information and falsely presenting it as original.Although Kedia Industries did not participate in the proceedings this time, the court considered the company’s earlier response from 2016. In that reply, Kedia maintained that it had been producing coconut oil since 2002, using the Everest trademark from 2006, and had introduced the questioned label in 2007. The firm insisted that its design was developed independently and without any intent to imitate.The court also underlined that both companies held their own label registrations, and emphasised that the blue colour frequently used across hair oil brands could not be claimed exclusively by any single manufacturer.Finding no substantive overlap between the products, the court remarked that Marico’s challenge appeared to be an attempt to assert dominance in the coconut oil market. “The petitioner has not been able to show any infringement,” the order stated, concluding that the Everest label was “clearly distinguishable” from that of Parachute.With this, the petition was dismissed, affirming Kedia Industries’ copyright over its Everest Coconut Oil packaging.

Mumbai: The Delhi High Court has granted an ex-parte ad-interim injunction in favour of JioStar India Private Limited, restraining multiple rogue mobile applications and websites — including Cricfy TV and related platforms — from illegally streaming or communicating content from India’s upcoming cricket series against South Africa (14 Nov – 19 Dec 2025) and New Zealand (11–31 Jan 2026). The injunction covers all 18 scheduled matches, safeguarding JioStar’s exclusive broadcast reproduction rights.The Court acknowledged that JioStar holds exclusive global digital and television rights for all BCCI events from 2023 to 2028, secured through significant commercial investments and formally confirmed by the BCCI. These rights include all live and recorded audio-visual content distributed via JioStar’s extensive broadcast network and its OTT platform, JioHotstar.JioStar submitted that rogue Android-based applications, particularly Cricfy TV, have repeatedly engaged in unauthorised streaming of premium cricket content, including recent international fixtures. The Court noted that such platforms routinely resurface under new domains and interfaces despite earlier blocking orders, posing a serious threat to lawful broadcast operations, especially during live sports events.Recognising the urgency associated with real-time piracy, the Court ordered the immediate blocking of eight identified domains and user interfaces linked to the infringing services. It also directed Domain Name Registrars (DNRs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to act within 72 hours to ensure full compliance.Significantly, the Court authorised real-time dynamic blocking of any additional apps, UIs or websites discovered during the cricket tours, enabling swift enforcement without the need for repeated court intervention.This proactive ruling marks a strong step in India’s fight against sports piracy, reinforcing the value of lawful broadcast ecosystems and strengthening protections for high-value live sports content across digital platforms.

Mumbai: Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has acquired men’s grooming brand Muuchstac in a ₹450 crore transaction, marking one of the most notable D2C exits in the segment. The acquisition brings into GCPL’s portfolio a high-growth, profitability-driven digital-first brand that has rapidly scaled with minimal capital infusion.Founded in 2017 by Bhayander-based entrepreneurs Vishal Lohia and Ronak Bagadia, Muuchstac began as a small grooming venture but witnessed a significant pivot in 2023 when its Face Wash SKU emerged as a breakout product. The single SKU now contributes nearly 90% of the brand’s revenue and has grown to become the second-largest men’s face wash brand online and likely the third-largest overall, including offline channels.Despite operating without television advertising, performance marketing, or large-scale promotions, Muuchstac has built a high-engagement consumer base through a micro-influencer-driven model focused purely on organic content.
